"Way over priced for only a spoonful of sour cream and placing a large order of $43 worth of food. I mean 5 dollars for ONE taco if you want cheese and sour cream on it. Not worth it. My pregnant ,taco craving wife ordered chicken tacos and was sad to come home to find out she couldn't eat them cause they were spicy, it would trigger her heart burn. The menu never said they would be spicy. We've been to many authentic Mexican restaurants and food trucks and never had chickentacos that came out spicy. I ordered chicken flautas and they were plain non spicy as they should be which were good btw. The limes were oddly dry, when I squeezed them no juice came out. But I was also disappointed with my Torta sandwichbread being stale and having to pay $2 extra for Oaxaca cheese when it comes included everywhere you go in Corona queens. Only 1 out of the 5 items I ordered were good. Service is a little slow, could be cause they are understaffed. Notworth going especially when you got to fight to find parking."

"Went to dinner at Mexico Authentico on Friday night. A high-quality Mexican spot with lots of unique margarita flavors and good food options.Quality: Solid Mexican food and delicious drinks. I had two types of margaritas, the Spicy Mango Margarita and the Habanero Cucumber Margarita. Both were tasty, but the flavor pairing in the Habanero Cucumber Margarita was unique and delicious. For food the Steak Nachos are very good, appreciate how they were layered to ensure each bite comes with lots of flavor. The Carnitas Burrito was fine, the weakest of our food items as it was a bit bland. The Camarones Tacos were excellent, loved the mango salsa to add some freshness.Quantity: Large portions of everything and strong drinks.Value: $12-$15 for Cocteles. $17 for Steak Nachos. $14 for the Carnitas Burrito. $12 for Camarones Tacos.Ambiance: Mexico Authentico is a Mexican restaurant located in Park Slope. They have a small outdoor patio, which is always decorated, and a small indoor dining area. Tables line the left wall, and a small bar can be found on the right. The walls are covered with different flashy decorations and Spanish music played loudly in the background. One large television hung towards the back, but was not on during our visit.Crowd: Very busy for Friday night dinner. Felt like the rain kept a lot of people local and looking for a place to enjoy a drink.Service: Friendly and adaptable staff.Parking: Limited parking in residential area."

"Our first time. It's a dinner in downtown. You don't want to. Not open for other meals. Friday is fried steak or catfish special (plus normal fare), we have the fish with frits. The catfish was perfectly cooked if you can do catfish really well, I'm good. Fries were country fried (soft) but tasteful (I would recommend two stages cooking itself) and the Hush puppies do not have onions/cuts (wet onion or whole grain to keep moist in my opinion) but it was good, we will be back. Oh, look at the bad sidewalk/the street, the city didn't do homework this week."

"Well done. Went there for the 1st time food was good place was nice n clean n staff was ok. I've been to Hispanic spots n because ur not Hispanic u get bad treatment n the worse prepared food because they figure u don't know what they're saying or know their customs. "Right. Try when you're in the area. But they're busy and the kitchen's slow. I will give them the doubts about a secured kitchen at my last visit because they were busy. That was not the first time. Finally, ready to check on several visits in total. Ordered online and said would be ready in 45 minutes. Got about 50 minutes there and then said it was 20 30 minutes. So about an hour and twenty minutes (80 minutes after the order we had food for a pick-up order. It wasn't our first time to eat here, but it wasn't waiting for food. Place was packed and took a while to have someone who recognized us when we arrived. The food is okay. It has some temperature accidents at delivery to your table. As if some foods had been made for a while and NOT under a heat lamp. Cheese dump was lumpy and not hot enough to melt the lumps again. Sent it back to take about 15 minutes to get it back (by main food asked if the cheese bath came back, and then it reappeared...still lumpy! . Order correctness it's 50/50 for complete order correctness. Food in naturally allows them to correct the problems, but if you get pickup and do not notice that they have forgotten anything until you come home you simply live with it. It is usually small things (not to read inquiries for items on the page or additionally, but still...annoying . I can think of about 3 other places just as close to the area that I probably rather often (and do). But others wanted this option for the day."
