"Giving this restaurant one star is being generous. My companion and I were the only guests there when we arrived on a Saturday for lunch which should have been my first clue. The server was unfriendly, detached and acted as though she'd rather be anywhere else. It was useless trying to engage her in friendly conversation, she simply didn't care. When then two combo platters arrived at our table quicker than a Taco Bell taco, I knew the food was not freshly made and I was right. Everything had been microwaved. The canned, pale beans were tasteless as was the nasty minute rice. The burrito and enchilada has a horrible cheese whiz fake cheese in them and both were inedible. When the server came back I asked her to remove the completely uneaten platter due to the awful food. She took it without comment and walked away. No apology and no offer was made to replace the dish with something else. We weren't charged for the dish which is the only positive thing I can say about the place. I've had better tv dinners and Vic Maier's old IGA building and Covington deserve better than this disgraceful place."

"Absolute worst service. There was only one couple on a Saturday night at 8 pm. Still we thought we will try this new place instead of our usual choices. We went sat down and immediately walked out. The guy(probably Manager/owner) was so rude , there was no host. He told us to sit wherever we wanted while he was eating at the bar. He comes up after a few min. When asked for menu he kind of threw it on the table. Never had such worst service. Would give it zero stars if possible. They do not know how to treat customers. You feel like you are unwelcome. We just got up and left. No wonder it was empty."

"OMG!!! If you go you have to get the bacon wrapped shrimp app! It was amazing! My burrito was fresh, hot, stuffed with ingredients and topped with a delicious queso and 6 big shrimp! Delish! We were able to take home our left over Margaritas! (We got a huge pitcher) My friend got a Chimichanga and loved it! I truly recommend giving them a try!"

"Quality here was Top Notch and I bought tortillas, hot boiled barbacoa, ice cream, hot sauce, pork breeze and a can of jumex. Prices reflect the facts for a small business among retail Giants such as wal mart, König Soopers, etc. The 4 stars are waiting for the 15 minutes that I had to bear while waiting to pay. Just a complete lack of caution. A cashier for a place that is simply packed with people. So beware of weekends"

"Everything was OK til closing time. I'm a VERY slow eater. And had I realized it was that close to closing we'd have went elsewhere to eat! We had already requested boxes; then why was owner standing at end of both staring at us like we not moving fast enough! Man, look he shoukda told us comin in the door. But naw he wanted that last bit a money. Well he gonna pay for it. I took my time packing up paying and then gettin out my seat. And I use a cane too! Then we halfway in the car and he gonna turn the parking lot lights off, how rude!! Guess I don't need to say there was no tip left; mostly cause I forgot cause he was rushing us; plus we won't be revisiting Casa Del Rio Express."
