"Decided to book a table watch a game during the world cup, I understand it was a big event and I expected crowds which is WHY I booked a table. Essentially, I got there 10 min before my reserved time hoping to get a drink at the bar but I was told by the hostess there was no space rn, my reservation would be honored at it’s time and I could head upstairs for the meantime. When I got up there it’s still not too packed but people are arriving, one bar was closed so I went to the open bar and I’m completely ignored by both guys behind there. I’m trying to be patient but when one of the guys made eye contact and still turned away from me I actually called him over and he said they weren’t serving. Okay, cool, where did these other people JUST get their drinks from? Don’t just ignore a customer you clearly saw before turning around. Right next to me a lady approached him trying to order food because a hostess had told her she could order there and he starts asking “who told you that? When? Where?” Clearly unorganized and lacking communication amongst the staff. So, whatever, it’s time for my reservation and I head downstairs and the hostess tells me they have no tables left and only upstairs is available. She was a different one from earlier but I still have a reservation and I see open tables. So I asked her why I can’t get a table if that is what I booked for and it’s my time? She tells me they don’t have a table just open space upstairs, when I let her know they weren’t serving up there she says they are now. It was an important occasion for me, my team was about to play and I can’t even get a drink and of course food is out of the question. I had a party of 2, while I waited in line it was obvious they were prioritizing bigger parties (w/o reservations btw) and putting tables together but if that was going to be the case then close reservations? Limit them? Although, the vibe was nice a business not honoring a pre-booked time is so disrespectful. I went elsewhere."
