"I arrived at the restaurant at 8:30pm for my reservation. The hostess appeared confused but seated us nonetheless. There was a band playing nearby, creating a great atmosphere as the sun went down. The same hostess informed us that she would get us water as she was unsure of where our server was. We waited for about 10 minutes with no water or menus, until the bartender came out and asked if we had been helped. From that point on, she provided excellent service for the rest of the evening. The male waiter who was supposed to assist us never showed up, which was fine with me. We placed our order at 8:55pm, and our food arrived at 9:45pm. The dishes were well-prepared and tasted delicious. The server made sure our drinks were promptly refilled. However, another table that had arrived before us waited even longer for their food, which prompted one customer to ask for the manager. Shockingly, the manager responded by raising her voice and having the customer, his family, and son thrown out of the restaurant by security. She then came out laughing about it in front of everyone. The shift manager displayed a complete lack of responsibility and control over the staff. Thankfully, the bartender saved the night with her exceptional service. Without her, I would have been forced to confront the manager and potentially be embarrassed in front of my family."
