"It was my friend's birthday the next day and we checked at the hotel to be much closer to del mar fairgrounds, as I had bought good seats for the circus show volta. The photos of this Resto on their website looked nice enough and reserved for a dinner 6pm. We looked, sat on two tables and finally left. There was no hostess except the bar visitor and she told us we could sit anywhere. Unfortunately, there were not many options left and the place was not great to begin. They had 3 corner seats free, but odd location opposite the interior. I've never had anything to eat like watching people or something like that. But I suppose the word 'bar' should have given it away. 1 table had 3 businessmen in it and with the music, sounded quite loud. Definitely more of a 'bar' vibe again and not really 'romantic dinner'. The second table on which we were sitting was typical where we were sitting, but I don't know if they had blinds. the left wall was glass opposite the sea and at 6 pm the world seemed very bright and I felt like we were in the beach sunbathing. The sun literally annoyed my eye and the idea of eating became inconspicuous. The menu was limited with only 3 or 4 participants and the rest of the 2. Page was only wine and spirit. Conclusion: This restaurant was not a great choice for a fancier night. Especially at 6:00."
