"Fiancé and I stayed here for the first time today and were welcomed in a cozy little place, Heidi the owner immediately greeted us with suggestions on the (quite extensive) menu. Many options, from and options to choose any taste in it. We spent some time deciding things to find out, usually our first time we will order a number of articles and just share everything just to get a sense of cooking style. Most here is made from scratch, so it takes a little longer to get your food, but this is to be expected when food is freshly cooked at any sit down kitchen. We ordered the chorizo bowl, the hearty bowl, the soup and sandwich combo (drilled cheese sandwich and creamy tomato soup), cinnamon roll pancake with sausage. For drinks we ordered the cold Braukaffee with vanilla and cream, an icy Chai tea and an orange juice. The bowls were cooked in mini ice cell phones with your choice of toast, lots of protein, potatoes were perfectly cooked as well as the eggs above. The chorizo had the perfect amount of heat, the toast was the perfect crunchy and well baked. Our pancakes were fluffy inside with a very nice caramelization on the outside, the icing was thicker and sweet with great taste. Our surprise favorite was the tomato soup and grilled cheese, the homemade tomato soup was thick and creamy and was below one of the best bowls of the tomato soup we ever had, it tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned with great consistency and mouth feeling. The grilled cheese was gooey inside and crispy chew on the outside and perfect for the dunking in the soup, both married together to make our surprise favorite food there today. I could eat it all morning for lunch and night. The owner Heidi made a point to ask us how our meal was at the end and have a big conversation with us about the support of local businesses like we usually, the staff was great and so was Heidi. If you are in the mood for something sweet, make a wide selection of coffees or a large homemade breakfast You're sure to stop even if you're on the move. They won't be disappointed. It is directly opposite Walgreens in Hartland. We have found a new favorite local food shop safe and they serve breakfast all day for us late-breakers. We'll be back again and again."
