"my family and I went to dinner yesterday at 16 o'clock. that was the best experience I ever had. the personal is so polite. our server was wonderful (jessica) and our cook was absolutely polite and eager to make our experience the best. he was so sweet and I couldn't believe how fresh it was. my mother ordered the garnel and the pieces were great and tasted wonderful. the Steak sections are worth every penny. I recommend this restaurant. many thanks for the wonderful experience and entertainment"

"Parking lot is huge you don't have to worry about parking. Customer Service was SUPUERB!!!! Hours are 11am-230pm then 430-10pm So don't miss that. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. It was so welcoming. It was quiet in the hibachi area, only 2 other families were there. The inside of the building is so huge, its the best place for a date night,birthday party, event, dinner etc. Hoho was our cook and he was so fun and polite. They don't serve liquor but you do get complimentary beer. The Japanese beer is really good and goes well with the food. Hubs did chicken and shrimp,I did filet mignon and let me tell you...my small leftovers was still so good and moist and amazing 3 days later. You get a huge portion and it was so so good. The soup is my favorite. It's seasoned to perfection and...I didn't try the salad. I'm picky about textures. The noodles were cooked well and the ambiance was the best. Its a cute place for pics too. I will be back ,because I've been craving it and it's only been a week. You have been #ElleConnected make sure you try this spot, its amazing."

"The food here is solid. It 's a VERY tasty Asian Fusion/Asian Tapas spot in area of Pasadena that is a bit sparse on food options. I recommend 2 dishes: 1- The Crispy Pork Yum is pretty amazing. It is all there in the name. It 's Crsipy, its porky and...well, its yummy. The pork deep fried light and crispy then served in a mixture or light fish sauce and vinegar with thinly sliced onion, cherry tomatoes and cucumber slices tossed in the mix. I always order the sauce spicy and definitely on the side so the pork remains crsipy. This dish is bright and acidic 2. Eggplant in Miso paste. They take asian eggplant, peel the skin off and then sautee it in a savoy Miso paste. It is VERY simple and so tastey. Sometimes, I 'll just eat this and a bowl of sticky rice and be super satisfied! This dish is savory yet mild. This evening I started off with a bowl of miso soup then I had the pork, the eggplant and rice. The acidity and brightness of the pork was nicely paired with the mild, yet savory taste of the eggplant. It goes so well with the sticky rice. It was a perfect amount of food. I was totally satiated and not feeling stuffed. Low 4 star rating."

"I decided to try out this restaurant while I was in the area doing some shopping during my medical traveler assignment in OKC. The food was excellent, and the service was top-notch. I arrived shortly after the restaurant opened on a Monday, so it wasn't very crowded. I sat at the sushi bar, where the chef was fantastic and provided excellent recommendations. I tried the amber jack, which was delicious. I had a great experience and will definitely need to make time for a second visit."

"This place is great. The food is good and great value. Normally rolls go for like $15 each but you can have as many as you want for $16 (lunch) or $25 (dinner). We were able to get 9 rolls for 2 people. Sure we could have eaten more but it was night and didn't want to be that full. One thing that kept me from giving this 5 stars was the amount of rice on the all-you-can-eat sushi. It was twice the amount of rice you would normally get on some of them and that fills you up fast. I can understand the reason. You HAVE to eat the rice. Any significant amount of rice not eaten will be charged extra. So if you think you can just trim some of that rice off then you'll be charged extra for it. Also, anything you order you HAVE to finish. No leftovers. Still, if you get even just 2 or 3 rolls, it would be already worth it. This is definitely a great value even with the amount of rice. Definitely a solid 4.5 stars."

"Great food, great menu! We really like this place but the wait staff are horrible. We've never had a good waiter/waitress but the food is always great. I also want to give a warning to people with food allergies. . .beware they aren't great at honoring allergy requests. We went to dinner with a friend who is allergic to avocados. I ordered a sushi roll with avocados. My friend ordered 2 other sushi rolls to share with her husband and specifically told the waitress that she was allergic to avocados. When our food came out my roll (with avocados) was on the same plate as one of the rolls that they ordered. Luckily the other roll they ordered was on a separate plate so my friend just didn't eat any of the sushi on the plate with the avocados. It's also luck that my friend didn't get sick since the waitress obviously didn't tell the sushi chef about the allergy."

"Visited this location on March at around I traveled to this location from hours away since a good friend had highly recommended it and wanted to have a nice birthday dinner. Upon arrival, we were quickly seated in our area of choice and a server quickly greeted us and took our drinkappetizer we had the pork and veggie gyozas and they were delicious order. After of waiting, our server had not come back to bring us the appetizer or take our order, so I went inside to inquire on her whereabouts and after more minutes she finally came to take our order and deliver the appetizer. She did not apologize or seem empathetic at all so we just paid our tab and left. Although the restaurant was nearly empty we were the only ones in the patio, and all but a few people were inside seated at the bar, the ambiance seemed like it would’ve been nice, and I’m terribly sad I didn’t get to have a taste of their food"

"When we walked in and mentioned we had an open table reservation for 12:15, the two hostesses looked at us like we were stupid. We then proceeded to clarify and they talked among themselves to confirm that they don 't do reservations. They then said it 's ok you don 't need one as the restaurant was empty... But we wanted our open table points. After we ate, the manager assisted us in confirming the reservation. This was honestly the first time at a sushi zushi that they hostesses were not aware that they did reservations but also were quite rude and didn 't greet us when we opened the door. I 'm not really a fan of this location and could see us not returning do to their rudeness."

"Bummed about this review because it was very fixable. We came for hibachi and had a few vegetarians in our party, so we verified some things with our server. He confirmed that the hibachi vegetable was a vegetarian option. So far, so good. The hibachi chef arrived shortly thereafter and was entertaining as he made the fried rice. Then he cooked the shrimp, steak and chicken for the table. Then he put the vegetables on and used the juices from the meats as part of the seasoning for the vegetables. The vegetarians were disappointed, but did not say anything to the chef. The rest of our party was silently bewildered as to why one would start cooking vegetables after their protein. When the server returned, one person mentioned that they were disappointed with the preparation and asked for a separate side order of vegetables. The server also seemed confused as to why the chef would cook the vegetables after the meat. We asked the server to see if there was anything he could do, and it turns out, there was! He could shrug his shoulders and charge us full price for everything! Well played, Atami. You win this round...there won't be another. Booooooo."

"Permanently closed. Sign on door. They didn't bother to cancel or otherwise notify people who had reservations, and we were a party of seven. This meant we had our birthday party at McDonald's (you try getting a table for seven on a Sunday evening around 7 pm! . I will never visit one of their own locations again. Never."
