"I drove to Pinecrest Bakery with my wife and child when we were feeling hungry. My wife ordered the Flan cheesecake, I got a vanilla cake, and my daughter chose a traditional Cuban steak sandwich. Unfortunately, my daughter's sandwich was just okay, but the cakes my wife and I ordered were extremely hard and seemed old. The bakery gave us plastic utensils, but the forks were so flimsy that they bent when we tried to cut into the cakes. I would not recommend this bakery, as the baked goods seemed stale and past their expiration date."

"I have not stayed here . . . YET. However I will. They have a really wonderful and rare collection of historic maps of earliest America, by European Mapmakers. It is on sort of permanent loan from the Boston Public Library, and displayed in accessible Lobby areas, open to the public. It is absolutely outstanding to see this modern city and it's origins as drawing from people coming here for the first time. Amazing. There's even and early map of the very plot of land the viewer is standing on Rowe's Wharf. I have it on my bucket list to stay here, so will someday, but in the meantime, pass through and encourage others to do so as well to learn more about our world's history in maps."

"In a pinch and for convenience, sure. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Of course, it's overpriced, but that's to be expected. Most of their employees are either lazy, inept or don't feel empowered to do anything that's not an exact part of their job description. Here are some of the things which make this place tough to like. it's 11:15 AM on a Saturday and both deli employees are on break. How about you take staggering breaks so you don't have to close down the deli while 4 customer would like to buy food (and that was just over 5 minutes)? With all the other employees around, not one could be bothered to put a ready made sandwich into a panini press for me. when items are restocked, frequently, they move them to a different part of the store and when i can't find something, there is a good chance they don't know what I'm asking for. charge for bags without asking if i want one. refusal to allow return on items which are spoiled unless you have a receipt BUT they don't give you a receipt. Gotten food poisoning from their ground chicken. No money back and they just tell you they're sorry. Nothing is actually done about it. with any food recalls (like with the recent Oatly scare), I had to tell them about it. They were unaware of the recall. What's worse? They don't do anything about it. Their employees act like lazy, don't care high school employees (but they are actually adults) who show zero initiative to help this business and it's customers. Management should consider reevaluating their hiring and training praxtices."

"I recently decided to order the delivery from here. the empanadas came hot and still crispy. I had several empanadas on my first order. the art of the empanada is written on the outside of the empanada. I love this sweet touch. it ensures a really cool unique design. I originally ordered the garnels, but it was not available. So I got an extra steak and onion-empanada. it was absolutely delicious. I'm glad I could have two of them. the steak is cut into pieces and is soft. it was really juicy. I also ordered the chicken and cheese and it was really delicious. my man got the cheeseburger he says he's really good. we also have the apple-emanadas that was absolutely delish. I also ordered the arepa con queso. the arepa was much thicker then I liked but it was still good. I've knocked it in a toast oven to create the cripple I was looking for. I also have two pan de leche, which was divine. the brot was fresh, soft and full of taste. I literally cut it into half, it a little roasted and eaten while I drink my Bustelo coffee in the morning. so good. overall this place was good. I'm glad I could get a few things and try different things. I look forward to ordering from here again and trying different menu items."

"Place is nice. The cashier no customer service at all it felt like just order and get out my face basically, food their pancakes their presentation is nice but they over due it on the Nutella batter very chewy so on that we just waisted our money but they lamb burger was so tasty and juice couldnt be better my husband's breakfast was good but not oh my God wow. But ok. Their Greek coffee since I had never tasted one before I can't really comment on that. But for the experience was ok . Wouldn't go back for that price we paid."

"The current construction has isolated the restaurant into a concrete junkyard. Friday night the place only had a few tables. I wouldn't bother returning until this mess is finished. Sad outcome for a good restaurant. No fault of their own!"

"We stayed at the Omni and had a late Saturday breakfast here. First of all, it's awesome that they serve breakfast until noon. Super great. We arrived about 11:00am and were seated quickly at a nice table. The ambience is quite good. Lots of natural light. Farm-style decor. We decided to enjoy the breakfast buffet. $22 per person wasn't bad at all for the quality received. Included our juice and coffee as well. We liked just about everything we ate. Fruit, eggs, meats, baked goods. The only detractor was the service. Our server was quick to get us drinks at the beginning of the meal, but she brought our check before we had even finished our first trip to the buffet. And then we didn't see her again! Had to flag down other servers for refills. Very bizarre. But overall, it was a very good experience, and we would return if staying at the Omni."

"I did a delivery order thru Grubhub. First of all one of the items was, out of stock, no problem but then when I received the order another item was missing and a substitution was made without permission. Now to the Quality (or lack there of} the so called Morning Bun looked like nothing I'd ever seen and the taste and texture was so bad I through it away. I also ordered Lemon Bars a simple recipe, again poor taste and texture through them out. I've shopped at the Taste Of Denmark for awhile but the Quality has really gone way down. I can not recommend or will I shop there again. Dissatisfied , Disappointed Customer Michael Day"

"I recently ordered a birthday cake for my grandson's first birthday. It was going to be a special memory making day and the cake was to be the centerpiece of many pictures. The cake exceeded my expectations! Nancy and her assistant listened to what I was asking for. I brought along a party napkin and some photos to explain what my ideas were. The cake was delicious, was perfect for my grandson's day and I was proud to serve it to my guests. I will be ordering from Nancy's again and highly recommend this bakery."

"We’re from Buffalo and my in -laws love the fig cookies from this bakery, so we stop in every time we are in town. The selection is great! I had an amazing piece of olive oil cake and the lemon tarts are incredible. Unfortunately, the woman behind the counter today was rude and off-putting, as though we were inconveniencing her. In the past, service has felt rushed. There are tons of great bakeries. It’s a real turn off, and I’d rather spend money at a place with friendlier staff."
