"Vermont Hospitality at it’s finest! This place made me fall in love with Woodstock. I walked in to order a Lobster Fra Diavolo to go as I was scared I wouldn’t make it in time before closing. The owner tells me to come back when I can sit down and gives me her cell phone number to call her in case I was running late as this was a big dish that should be enjoyed as a sit down dinner, not takeout. After my meeting, I texted her I was on my way. I am so glad she made me come back. I had a swell time. She recommended a great Vermont wine to pair with my meal. The restaurant is so welcoming and cozy, you feel like you are at a friends for dinner. I met some of the locals who frequented the restaurant and had such a great time. The food was delicious but the atmosphere, staff and experience made it the perfect evening in Woodstock. I loved every minute of it. I will certainly be back in Woodstock and will not miss a trip to the Daily Catch."
