"We stopped in to this restaurant our first night in Honolulu. I’m glad we did. The front desk area is where you will go through the mandatory Covid screening, have your vaccination card and ID or your Safe Hawaii QR screenshot ready. It’s required everywhere in Hawaii from bars, restaurants and tours. We decided on the Teriyaki wings as appetizers which were crispy on the outside and very moist on the inside. Very yummy! We ended up splitting the 50/50 Frye burger. Really glad we did that as it is a pretty big burger. The garlic fries here are out of this world! There is a honey mustard sauce that is served with it and compliments it tremendously. Beware, lol, if you don’t like garlic a lot, these may prove overpowering. They were fabulous. We were seated at a booth about halfway back from the door. There is a bar area and a small area for live music. The service was great and I really enjoyed the MaiTai here. They are pretty much different at any bar you go to, I think this was my favorite. Would highly recommend this place if you’re in Waikiki. Clean, friendly and fast service. And great food as well."
