"We try our best to give this place a chance after constant bad service. It 's close to our house, but honestly I will never support this restaurant again. I just called to place an order for delivery, 2 tortas and 2 drinks, then the woman tells me that we are blocked from getting food delivered. And I 'm so confused and ask her why? She proceeds to tell me there 's a note that states we made a big order and dejan la comida . As in we didn 't collect our food/left it behind. Iasked her when did this happen since we ordered last week the same thing and we got our food. She couldn 't tell me when or any further explanation. I 'm seriously so tired of their attitude, we have never ordered more than 2 things and wepick up our food most of the time, and almost every single time these women working there have such a stank attitude. Most of the time it 's the night shift women we have issues with. The only time we ever canceled an order was almost 2years ago.. we were coming back from from trip and ordered a bunch of tacos and drinks, I asked the woman how long it would take, she told me 30 mins. We got home and an hour passed by and we didn 't get our food. We live 5mins away so Icalled and asked why it was taking so long and we can just pick it up if the delivery guy was busy. This was in the evening and the woman got annoyed and yelled at me saying they were super busy and it was going to take a while. It wasabout 1hr and and half since we had called in the order.. we didn 't get more than 10 tacos. She proceeded to hang up the phone. I called back and told her we didn 't want it any more. 10mins later the delivery guy came and I apologized tohim and told him he needs to tell the woman that sent him why she sent him because I had told her we canceled our order. BUT the weird thing is, we have ordered from them a few times after that, even though we try to avoid them.. Trying tosupport local businesses here but what can you do when the workers are giving such horrible cus"

"I returned because food was good, but this time it was really bad... Beans were very watery and the Culichi shrimps were all soup!!! You should have given me a spoon instead of a fork. Sad to become so much for 2 orders almost $50, that is without drinks and so disappointing for it. Never again."

"Really good food. The beans and cheese pupusa were really good. Enchilada cheese was okay. Next time I would try something else and they have several vegetarian options to choose from. It looks small from outside, but it's a pretty big place. We went to a Wednesday at 5:30 a.m. and it was pretty crowded, but we didn't have to wait to take a seat. The server was great, very attentive and the service was fast."

"From the handful of Mariscos spots I've gone to at Long Beach this spot so far has been the BEST (Im talking about the shrimp caldo and shrimp ceviche). Both Items I got were decent and presentable. Definitely my money's worth and left my tastebuds satisfied. Also, customer service was great and very nice people. I will be coming back when I get to work around the area for lunch forsure!"

"I 'm not sure what has happened to this place over the last few months but it went from being our favorite go-to to NEVER again! I gave the benefit of the doubt after my last order was wrong so we ordered again today and it 's like they don 't even read the customer 's comments/preferences any more. The food took way longer than expected (though there were only two customers in the restaurant , the corn tortillas were not even warm (like they just pulled them out of a package , they included sides I specifically asked them not to (sour cream, pico, lettuce, etc. , the lettuce looked like it had seen better days and when I asked for a side of house hot sauce (not salsa , I was told they don 't make hot sauce any more! WHAT Mexican restaurant doesn 't make hot sauce?!? Super disappointed!"

"Eating was in order, nothing to flee over tho. my friend and his mother didn't get what they ordered, and the whole server said it wasn't her fault that she was just the server. That's also when you can call her because she didn't even check on us. my friend had to call her to get boxes. I don't know, but I'm server myself I'm watching eating to make sure it's right if I don't bring it back to the kitchen, and I don't care how busy they get when they go to their table they ask how everything doesn't just run. they need to get better server and I would say, cook as well as understand what the ticket says!"

"WOW. It's been a long time since I've updated my reviews of Rancho Las Palmas. After having dinner there last night, I realized I need to shoot out an update! Honestly very little has changed. Through the COVID drama, they stayed open, doing first take-out and then outdoor dining. We're back to indoor if we want it, but al fresco is still available. The quality of the food and the service have continued to be excellent. We've introduced RLP to our close friends and not only do we meet them there often, but they eat there without us plenty as well. Since my last update, I've been introduced to Micheladas and Margaritas with Tamarindo, which are SO FREAKING YUMMY. I try new things here and there, but seriously, I still love the flautas. Last night I got enchiladas and asked for a side of queso fresco to eat with my chips. Felt like I was down in Baja. This restaurant is often quiet and not busy although there are times it gets full, but no matter what, the service is great, the food yummy and the prices totally decent. We still love Rancho Las Palmas and I think you should eat there!"

"I noticed the place while walking to the Country Store just a couple of doors down. Asked the cashier at the store if the food was good there and he said yes, so I went in. It was 11am so almost nobody there yet. The hostess/waitress was super nice, as was the chef (or bartender or manager)? The salsas were really flavorful, as was the massive beef super burrito. Enough for 3-4 servings easily. Tried the cucumber martini, which was delicious. The staff kept checking to make sure everything was good. I've seen some not so great reviews and can only imagine things don't go perfectly when a place is really crowded. So go early and enjoy yourself!! Oh, and Arsenal was on the TV and scored the only goal to beat PSV Eindhoven. Go Gunners!!!"
