"I?ve been going to this restaurant for years, and I?ve enjoyed family meals here. Recently I made the mistake to return and we had my daughter?s service dog which is in training. We came in and after they sat us, it was obvious we had the dog with us, awaitress with a face came over and asked for the id card that identifies him as a service dog. I explained that he is intraining that?s why he wears a vest that states he is in training. She explained that ?the owner? required the card otherwiseshe could lose her job. I explained to her that in the state of Florida service dogs in training have the same rights, and thathe is fully potty trained and non aggressive. She went on to say that it didn?t matter that we needed the card because again theowner required it otherwise she could lose her job. I told her it was illegal to do that in that state of Florida, and she saidit was not true, she went on to tell me a story which I was not interested in. One of the conditions my daughter needs the dogfor is anxiety, which unfortunately during that incident that waitress created a lot of anxiety for her, as we were escorted outof the restaurant after being sited which was completely embarrassing. If they have that rule, which by the states is not legal, then they should not sit you to then embarras you and ask you to leave. They were so concerned about the dog being there becauseI guess their worried about hygiene however there was a dead lizard under the table and the crumbs all over the bench. Not onlywas the waitress rude but she kept arguing with me that is not illegal to ask for paperwork, when it actually is. I usuallydon?t spend time writing reviews but the horrible experience we had that day unfortunately ruined our day. I recommend the ownerto train people on ADA."

"(Update: we put a dispute on our credit card...owner is fighting it. In their argument to our bank, they told our bank that they tried to contact us about the order, several times. Note that in the initial owner response to my original post, no mention of trying to contact us. We can easily go to cell phone records to look for missed calls that did not happen. So in a situation where restaurant was not answering their phone all day, and has no voice mail set up, was closed on a day that their stated business hours said they would be open, they told our bank that we should be responsible for the charge because they tried to contact us. Pretty ironic. Again, Beware of Using This Establishment for Catering. )Beware of catering. We ordered from this restaurant a few days in advance for a New Years Eve gathering for about 15 people. They charged our credit card, but when we showed up on New Years Eve the restaurant was closed. The restaurant was dark and no one answered the phone. We had to scramble last minute to order food somewhere else for our party. No sign on the door, no message on the phone, just closed. To owner response: we had no way to know you would make this order since you were closed when we went over a few times during the day. We could not leave a message (we tried calling several times) and no one answered the phone. You also did not tell us you would be closed that day and and you never called us to tell us the order was ready. We had no choice but to assume you would not make the order, and had to scramble last minute to order from somewhere else."
