On that note, if you buy a restaurant, I don’t care what nationality you are drop , the flag that was there prior and raise your own. Don’t fake the funk. People will catch on to what’s going on and you will lose everything eventually. if you’re Dominican and you own this restaurant, be proud and raise your flag and bring your own food as well. There’s a big difference in taste and it’s noticeable in our signature dishes. If I bought a Cuban restaurant, I would make sure that everyone knows that I’m of a different ethnic and what I’m bringing to the table. Still keep the authentic dishes , but be real with my clients.
