"my wife and I came a few weeks ago to the gentle opening. we have eaten at the location chicago for several years and some things we love are the consistency of food and the friendliness of the staff. our service was excellent and we were delighted by the servers about their dishes. since many of the menu items in glenview were different, we decided to order tapas style to try some dishes that we had not seen before. our experience was worth the 5-star rating and we cannot wait to go back."

"Went out as a family to take my mom out for her birthday. That was our first time eating there. Food was great and the owner was very polite and welcoming; however, the waitress was not pleasant. Asked the waitress for recommendations on the menu and she completely ignored us and told us to look over the menu ourselves. She also didn't really come to check on us and I had to ask her for a refill for my drink. I would still recommend this place despite the waitress attitude (maybe she was having a bad day) only because the food was good and the owner was welcoming."

"I’m going to say I’ve ate her 3x in the last month. It’s easy to get to from my job. The first two experiences I had a rude host answer the phone for order pickup. "I absolutely LOVE this place!! I usually go with my sister and we cannot get enough of Tapatio. The food is amazing and the service is top-notch. Everything is made to order and the quality is outstanding. Merced and Jesus always take great care of us. If you're looking for delicious, made from scratch food, this is the place! "Great ambiance, great music. Prices are a bit higher than what the rest of that area has. Still manageable considering everything has gone up. I went here for brunch one time. Never again after that, the food wasn't great and the brunch special wasn't enticing either. I would just continue to go at night for the drinks and music vibe"
