"This was my first time coming to any Anita's restaurant and I walked in hopeful as I saw the images of come of their food options that looked really good as we drove by. Well, we gotta remember, what they put out there for us to see is their absolute best... After looking over their extensive menu, two of us decided to get the buffet while the third ordered a salad. There were plenty of decent options on the buffet including rice, beans, fajitas, enchiladas and chile verde (pretty standard at Mexican lunch buffets but also had pupusas and broiled chicken thighs along with some cut-up fruit, rice pudding, and cake for dessert (the cake was obviously not made in-home though... . All of this next to a small salad bar, also included in the buffet. The food options were pretty good and the taste was also pretty good. Average is probably a better way to describe the food. Not the best, definitely not the worst. But the service was pretty bad. The seated us quickly but took forever to get out drinks out (three waters lol and then never came back to refill them. I had to ask a server who was running by and it took him a while after that even... The bar was full of what seemed to be family or friends of the owner's and they were watching a game (there's TV's at the bar , being rowdy, and walking in and out of the kitchen. Not very professional. The food was ok. The service was lackluster. I gave three stars for it being an average place to eat. One of the three of us said the other times they've been there, the service had been great so maybe it was just a one-off? Not sure. Try your luck I guess? Although nothing I had (from the buffet, mind you was significant enough for me to recommend you to have to come and taste, unfortunately. Also, working across the street from a Mexican food restaurant that serves a fresh and tasty lunch buffet plus great service for less than $8 (including a drink made this place seemed overpriced at $10."
