"After leaving work very early on a Friday, beautiful day might I add, I decided to spend some time perusing around Cypress. I ran into newly opened Gigi 's. The dessert fiend in me squealed. That skinny heifer in my head said, girl you better go to that LA Fitness across the street!!!! But the Chunky Monkey I am wants to sample, rate, and compare every cupcake in the city! If you look at my pics, you can guess who wins more often. It was a super duper nice and knowledgeable lady, Ellen, working the counter. Every cupcake I inquired about, she knew instant full details regarding it. I let her know it was my first time and wondered what the best sellers are. Her first choice (what I chose actually, was wedding cake). They had a sample of strawberry shortcake on the counter. When I tasted it, it was so moist and delicate. It made me super excited to taste my selection. She told me how best the cupcakes travel, but I gave her that girl please face and stated this cupcake wasn 't making it that far. I enjoyed it on one of their 2 tables outside (no place to sit inside sadly). The cupcake was really good, loads of icing (borderline too much for my taste) but I 'm sad to say it wasn 't as moist and delicate as my strawberry bite. I was a bit disappointed but like I stated, it was indeed delicious. $3.25/p or $36 for a dozen. They could also be a bit bigger in my opinion too...just a smidgen for the price tag. The store was never packed but the traffic was continuous in and outs. Considering the time, this place is undoubtedly popular. I 'll be back Gigi...rest assured! It was so many good varieties, I 'm excited to try that salted caramel. But the CM only gets one cuppy cake at a time."

"The best gourmet cupcakes I had around Woodlands. Another reviewer commented that there is too much freezing, and I understand. Personally, I would prefer a fresh, damp cake with only a thin layer of frosting, but this is not beautiful or funny. I won't judge her for her freezing. While I shaved a bunch of me what I tasted. Even if you go on the right day (her menu is somewhat different on different days see their website, you can open the chocolate cake and a few other items with less, little or no frosting. The cake was very good. We came to the end of the day on Saturday, and I was curious how the cakes would taste so late. I was glad to know that my still was soft and tasty. I was also delighted to hear that my wife, who has a gluten sensitivity, thought the gluten-free cupcake was fantastic! The four children with us all loved their cupcakes. FWIW, we tried Crave a few weeks ago on the road, and I have to say that I very preferred Gigi 's. We were in Crave in the afternoon and none of the four cupcakes tasted as fresh as we wanted. Neither my girls finished their, and none of these places is cheap, so that was a little frustrating. That said her coffee is definitely worth trying, and there were other pastries that I probably go back and try sometime. I hope it helps someone! If you like cupcakes, Gigi's definitely a great place to try. They have a good variety, our were fresh, and everyone in our group loved them. Six cupcakes put us back $21; a fairly typical price for this kind of thing, and less than other places I was that I liked less."
