"Angelina’s Ristorante advertises itself as a beautiful woman, who lures you in through clever marketing and brings you back time and time again with great food and drink. I’ll save the wonderful dinner entrees for another review, as i wish to share the “happy hour” experience with the reader (or as Angelina calls it, ‘Daily Indulgence . That bottle of high-dollar wine you wish you could afford to drink 7 nights a week is just half price in Angelina’s classy lounge every evening from 5 to 7. Other cocktails and beers are half price also, but the deal doesn’t include wine by the glass, so go right to the “bottle” list. Get there early, as the lounge fills up quickly, and the wine list is so extensive, you’ll need time to browse. After indulging in a couple of Angelina’s half price appetizers, you probably won’t have room for dinner, but who cares??? My favorites are Tuscan beef crostini, Margherita flatbread, and Sweet and Savory flatbread. The Pasta e Fagioli is wonderful, and although I’m not a fan of mussels, I’m told by other patrons they’re the “best”. And one more thing; if you find the wine list somewhat overwhelming, just ask for Angela. WOW! This woman really knows her stuff and will find the right wine for you, Enjoy!"

"945th different cheesesteak eaten in the last 4 years. This was a typical corner deli cheesesteak. It was $7.50 and it ate well. It needed more cheese and a better cheese melt. I would have liked for the mushrooms and onions to spend more time on the grill. I’m not running back to get this cheesesteak but at $7.50 I’m complaining when I get one."

"Enjoyed a lovely dinner with my husband and father on a Sunday evening. I was surprised how many available tables there were given the amazing service and food. We’ve been here before years ago and this time was even better. Started with the goat cheese and spinach spread appetizer They have more wine beyond the list so be sure to ask. We had the Chaos Theory from Brown Estate with the Filet, Sea Bass, and house-made pasta dish with sausage. Finished off with strawberry puffs and peanut butter crème brûlée with 20 yr Tawny port. "I ordered from GrubHub and had a wrong order. I have left a negative review on GrubHub to get a refund. The owner of the restaurant has personally called and apologized, offered to repay the wrong part. I couldn't edit my GrubHub review so I'll leave a positive one here. The food was good and we'll give them another try next time. Everyone makes mistakes, but it is a rare and welcome event in these days. "After writing a poor review, based on three prior experiences We once again visited FHP. Shortly after my review, I was contacted by the ownership of this unique eatery. They assured me they were aware of the issues outlined in my review and told me they were working on them. To be honest my concerns had nothing to do with that pie... a true God send, of biblical proportions. This is pizza head and shoulders above any other I've eaten. "What a phenomenal Italian restaurant! The staff and the owner are amazing. Lasinda, the owner was so nice, came over and talked to us and made us feel like we had a meal at the kitchen table in her home. From the Gale, like our reservation to the Gal waiting for us. They had a first attitude of the customer. Now to Jimmy came the other half at the end and was just so pleasant to speak and has a great sense of humor. Recommend this restaurant. If you want delicious fresh and hot food. Don't look. We'll be back. I found my new Italian food!"

"Worst experience! We made reservations for what they advertised as a Valentine’s Day Experience, $125. When we got there, we waited exactly 28 minutes to be seated after asking two staff members to help us since there was no one working the front desk. When we finally got seated, we weren’t offered a menu or waters. We had to wait to catch the attention of a server who took our order, still not offered any drinks to include water. We got the food exactly 54 minutes after placing the order. The food was terrible. We had to ask for utensils and water. I understand the restaurant was short staffed but it shows lack of care from the management because they were no where to be found. The servers spoke broken English which tells me that they don’t care about projecting a good image and not many people want to work there."

"Everything was wonderful when we arrived. Volunteering to go outside since we had 12 in our party and went out. Our waitress was really excellent as we had a big group and cousins of Minnesota to impress. The food was the first rate and service better than the first rate. "We had a terrible experience. The food was ok not spectacular. The service was absolutely horrible. We waited 45 minutes for our appetizer, got tired of waiting so we canceled it, and we were still charged. Our waitress came around about every 20 or so minutes. Several times we had to ask other wait staff to refill our water and at one point, we went up to the bar to get our own drinks. The room was overly HOT and very crowded. We were there for almost 3 hours. It was ridiculous."

"I was at Fia this evening with 3 friends for the opening night of Dine LA. Two of us arrived early and had a cocktail before dinner. The staff was lovely and accommodating. When we sat for dinner, we confirmed the Dine LA menu info and inquired about switching the first course for one lady who has a seafood allergy. We were told they couldn't make any changes but that we could order a separate appetizer at an additional charge. We agreed to that and happily enjoyed 3 of the 4 courses. The dessert was a disappointment, but even that was forgivable as the other food was so delicious. What was unforgivable was the awful way the manager addressed us after we questioned the bill which was 30 per person higher than listed on Dine LA . They have it listed it at 65. There are other restaurants that listed their menu at 95, but Fia's is 65. When we mentioned this to the server (who was wonderful) she immediately got the manager who greeted us holding a binder and seemed upset. When we explained the issue, she was accusatory and blaming us until we showed her the dine LA page including the menu with the price we expected to be honored. At no time did she apologize or offer any resolution. She just stood there blaming the website. Two of us work in hospitality with one being a former restaurant manager and a chef. The other is a server who works at a popular entertainment venue. We were all shocked at how she reacted. At no point were we rude although I wanted to be after your manager was so dissmisive, took no responsibility and offered no resolution. She just walked away. We eat out together often and have participated in Dine LA for many years to try out new places. We had even discussed returning for brunch or another dinner at a later date. That is until the manager made us feel so uncomfortable and unwelcome. We left feeling upset mad instead of satisfied and happy."

"I visited this restaurant late on a Saturday night to satisfy a food craving. I decided to try the shrimp Parmigiana, which was delicious. The shrimp weren’t particularly large, but there were six of them. The pizza had a wonderfully crispy thin crust, which we didn't even have to request. I was so eager to dig in that I forgot to take a picture! I brought home some leftover linguine as well. The place has a charming atmosphere with stone walls and intricately carved chairs. The staff was very friendly, making it a great local spot for the neighborhood."
