"Shrimp scampi was horrible. The butter was brown....which is over cooked and burnt left a nasty taste on the shrimp. Refused to eat the dish and pay for it."
"Benedetto's has a wonderful ambience, surrounded by the Wildwood B B theater the Wildwood Hotel. I enjoy the outside patio with a long cozy firepit for taking the chill out of the colder evenings. The entrées are delicious! My favorite is Linguini del Mare They have a great selection of wines mixed drinks. And the music is very tasteful. "Love this place!!!! Old school italian food at its finest. Hope they come back bigger and better, although its hard to imagine them being any better than they were before. I asked the owner if he'd be willing to put tripe on the menu and he said it's possible.... A month later its on the menu and its amazing!!! It's the only place on the island that makes good tripe so I hope they open again real soon because this is what dongan hills needed!!"

"Garlic Knots were hot and fresh. The first few bites were good. Lots of dough though. The we received our pizza and it was the worst margherita pizza we have ever tried to eat. Crust was charcoaled top and bottom. No flavor except charcoal. We did talk to management and he defended his pizza and said this is a true Neapolitan pizza and we just did not understand this kind of pizza. What do we need to understand? The flavor was charcoal, he did say maybe they needed to clean and scrape the oven. … – show"

"Excellent pizza. We enjoyed the marg, the arugula, and the garlic bread. The Kale Ceasar is very good. Service and beer were great. There are many vegetarian options."
