"Okay...yesterday (the 13th) I contacted Edible Arrangements. They wanted $55.00 for 12 chocolate dipped strawberries and then expected a $25.00 delivery charge. They are located less than 1.5 miles away. In my rummaging, I came across Sierra Nevada Chocolate. They do not accept preorders and personally hand-dip their strawberries while the patron waits. One is assured fresh ingredients. I (Dr M) do not favor sweets. In fact, this is the first time I have ever tasted chocolate dipped strawberries. They are very, very yummy. They are sumptuous. The personnel at the establishment made a slight error--they gave us twelve strawberries instead of the requested six. They were mortified and tried to accommodate us in any manner possible. So, they only charged us for six. Now, that is a customer-centric environment! They even tried to provide us with Canadian 'Turtles. ' Talk about going above and beyond!?! If at all possible, I would love for our feedback to get back to these exemplary staff members. To the management at Sierra Nevada Chocolate: Your staff rocks! Oh, and with all these delectables it was ~1/2 the price of the the other establishment! In the above-mentioned order we received a glitter chocolate heart sucker, two turtles, one chocolate caramel square, and the dozen chocolate covered strawberries. Will we go back? Most definitely!"
