"Came here for a birthday lunch. Nice, free warm sourdough bread to start! My salmon was a tad overcooked for my taste but still good. One friend liked her chicken (Pollo al Mattone), but my other friend thought her Vitello alla Principessa (veal) was too lemony toward the end in the sauce; however, our server said there was no lemon in her dish. I’ve had better tiramisu. When the cuore di cioccolata was brought out, one of my friends saw hazelnuts on her gelato, but nuts were not listed on the dessert menu! She’s allergic to nuts. We had the server replace her dessert. Dessert menu needs to list hazelnuts on this dessert for people with nut allergies. Service was good. We were the only customers there at the time. Nice ambience. Paid parking on the lot when you get a ticket at the entrance. Guess being a Labor Day weekend, we lucked out on the free parking. After lunch, we took a Marina waterbus $2 RT around the marina on this humid day with an ominous sky. People danced while a band played at the Fisherman’s Village next door. Although a dreary day, it was a nice afternoon!"
