"We decided to try Garcia 's tonight with our family of six adults and two small children. It is only east of the bustling I-35N FM3009 crossing in Selma Schertz at the end of a strip shopping center. Many parking spaces in front and when we walked in the restaurant were full of many people waiting for tables. This is not a large room, maybe 25 tables and stands with a beautifully decorated interior and waiters everywhere. We sat after about 10 minutes and immediately given menus and drinks orders. Excellent chips and exactly right salsa were placed on the table as soon as we sat. The menu is extensive with many Tex Mexican favourites, American dishes such as burgers and fries, and a few more unusual choices such as beef fideo and picadillo platter. We ordered combo plates with Enchiladas, Chalupas and Tacos; picadillo plate; Chicken Fajita-Platter; Children's ' Enchilada plates and a large guacamole for an appetizer. Service was very fast, friendly and efficient. Our waitress moved quickly, but managed to keep our soda and water glasses full and regularly check on us. The guacamole was simple and fresh, no tomatoes or onions, but only simple avocados with lemon and salt - it was delicious. The Entrees were also made easy, but were very good, if not inspired, we all cleaned our plates! Fresh homemade tortillas brought with the entrees were hot out of the grid and wonderful. We could eat a dozen. Prices are also very reasonable. For six Entrees including two children's meals and soft drinks tea was the total $56.14 before tip. We are very happy to find Garcia 's!"

"I made a reservation online. we arrived for our reservation and the hostess informed me that I had no reservation. then she told me that they were in the capacity and there would be a moment, but there was no reservation. I informed them that I made the reservation online and she cut me off from having something and that there would be a waiting time because other people were before me. I asked why they allowed online booking if they were not honored. she started again that there was no reservation until I told her she was wrong and showed her my confirmation. she then asked my name is sandra foster, I answered yes and she said she found it, but it would be a 15-20 minute waiting. I stayed in front of us deliberately while 3 parties were sitting in front of us. in exactly 19 minutes she called my name and we sat. we had a member in the party who had just arrived with the airplane and was quite tired and hungry also diabetic. also tried to celebrate a birthday. we decided not to celebrate the birthday in this night and wait until the next, as we had starved at this point. on a positive note, we had a very good waiter and the food and service were great when we crossed the threshold. as customer service manager for over 25 years, they never say they are wrong. especially if you don't know. it was disappointing. put a damper in the evening. but our waiter was so amazing that my 9-year-old grandson wanted to pay him $5 of his own loan to tip him over what we tipped."

"this place is a higher endurance. the kind of place that is perfect for dressing. not too much, but rely on business travelers. buttons for men and blouses for the ladies. the overall mood of the place was delicate, low lighting for a more romantic feeling. the waiters were very polite and well maintained. Unfortunately, eating is where the experience for me and my important other deepens. the kitchen was easy to be a more elevated place. my major other said his $8 afteros were in order and followed a traditional Tex sex style. (to be a Tex Mexican restaurant, I take it as a good thing.) my teller was overloaded. I asked if I could have a beef enchilada plate with added spinat in the enchilada, what the waiter said that something he could not do - although the menu offers both bark and spinat. After talking to another waiter, he came back and said I had a teller with a spinach and a bark. eating quickly came out what was a plus, but as already said, eating was basic. the shocker came after my spouse and I ended up on some basic mathe and calculated that the waiter my plate double charged. something that should be $13, and some strange changes came out to be $21. (I'm sorry if I knew I would have said I'd forget the spinach. I just wanted the spinach to be more of a garnel, not a separate bill. do not misunderstand me, the whole atmosphere is very delightful. the only part is that I would rather have stayed at home and cooked."
