"What a pleasant surprise it was to find this awesome restaurant in Crawfordsville, Indiana! I grew up in Miami, Florida and there’s Mexican restaurants all over the place. None of them were as good as El Charro’s! First impression from the outside was your typical restaurant in a small downtown setting. When we walked in, it was BAM! Very colorful and unique like I’ve never seen in a restaurant before. The owners really went out of their way and spared no expense on the ambiance. The best part is the food. The menu is extensive and covers almost everything Mexican. We settled on the El Charro fajitas and man they didn’t disappoint! It had chicken, steak and chorizo, along with an equal amount of onions, red, yellow and green bell peppers. Truly delicious! The kicker was when they brought the red and yellow squeeze bottles…like you’d put ketchup and mustard in…only they were filled with some spicy red (hotter) and a yellowish (hot and garlicky) sauces, amazing! Crawfordsville is really lucky to have this authentic, amazing restaurant in their town."
