"We enjoy coming here, do often. This was for my husband’s birthday, so we came with a friend. He ordered a Grenadine beef, which was good, just left a little too rare. He noted he’d be sure to address his preference, if ever again he ordered it. I ordered the Prawns Bordelaise, which I’d had before. This time they came butterflied breaded, which was strange. The vegetable (strips of yellow green squash was so bitter to taste, it made you want to stop eating, which I did. Instead of spoiling the festive mood, I just pushed my plate aside, later asked for it to be packed to go. Our other diner agreed his vegetable was also very bitter (skin unripe/too young? . Also… the salad was skipped. Not sure why, but we’d gotten accustomed to a certain quality that was lacking on this Friday night when it was not very busy at all. All in all, we made the best out f it, as the event company overshadowed the mishaps."
