"It's got to be one of the loudest restaurants in Orange County... the brick walls and the small tables make it very intimate and if you're into that type of a atmosphere it is great! I would recommend sitting at the bar... at least you can speak side by side and have a little conversation. But you will want to go here because the food is amazing... everything we tasted was fresh, high-quality, handmade and really delicious. Thinking back on the menu there are at least 12 things that I still have to go back and try. Think more red sauce southern Italian family-style then upscale northern and more refined dining."

"It was perfect. We got SAUTÈ DI ACCIUGHE, as an appetizer. It was amazing. We choose one of the $20 under $20 bottles of wine. I was a little dubious at how good it might be and was extremely surprised and how lovely Montevento, Montepulciano d' Abruzzo was and a bargain to boot. My husband and I shared two pasta dishes, the Tartufo con Carne and the Fusilli Gamberoni alla Vodka. The service was perfect. The only downside is we live in RVA and can not make this place a regular (but will be coming back when we are down here) and that I way more then I should have.... way more (which may be good that I can not come regularly). It was also nice to see dishes I have never seen at other restaurants,. Highly recommend. What a jewel."
