"that was the first time I and my husband went to Manalus. it was the best Italian meal we ever had. the sose is amazing, it is not like the typical thick red sauce. our waiter was great and explained the menu and gave us great suggestions. we look forward to coming back soon!"

"I have been ordering from Gino’s for years and will no longer. The portions get smaller each time. I ordered the shrimp parmigiana entree for $31. I got 6 tiny pieces of shrimp that the manager Fernando said are “jumbo“ shrimp, the pasta didn’t even amount to half of a cereal bowl and the salad that it comes with was only a quarter of the way full. Fernando told me the salad is a “gift” that they give the customers. So basically telling me something is better than nothing. In addition, the last time I was there I ordered a 2 pizza pies and the young man was nice enough to give me plates (I didn’t ask for them) the manager then scolded him in front of me regarding the cost of plates and that plates should only be given to customers that ask for them ."

"Belle promesse d'un italien new yorkais comme je les aime... Au final, des plats sans grande saveur, peu élaborés, accompagnements pauvres (purée de pommes de terre et un morceau de brocoli pas assez cuit , très loin de la finesse de la cuisine italienne. Plat de ravioli annoncé sans fromage (demande claire et insistante de notre part qui s'est révélé en comporter finalement... Desserts corrects. Malheureusement pas de vins bio. Enfin, éclairages très faibles, trop tamisés : on ne voyait pas le contenu de son assiette, obligés de l'éclairer avec son portable !! (véridique, la première fois que je rencontre cela... ."

"The quality of food in this facility should earn it 5 stars each time. From the table bread, the appetizer Italian sausage and kale soup and the amazing Cajun Gumbo, which was a special feature. The food was absolutely notch. The negative, however, it took 15-20 minutes after I sat to be bigger and taking drinks order. It was also a good 10 minutes waiting to get my check. Besides waiting times, my server was friendly, attentive and informative. She was also on top of the refills. The other negative was the price, quite expensive for the type of establishment. Would definitely come back for dinner!"

"First time here ambiance was good staff helpful and friendly. I wasn't very pleased with my meal. Not a fan of al dente pasta and it was my mistake I didn't ask. Also, the sauce was kinda sweet for the chicken Parm. I should have went with my first mindand ordered the Pork chop. Now let's talk about the drinks. Boy oh boy were they nice and strong. Have yet to find a good pizza parlor and almost impossible to find By The Slice Out of chance, I happened to find Georgio's and I would say, Finally, some decent NY Style (aka, real pizza)! oh, and did I mention, By the slice !On a Michigan scale, this pizza is a 10/10. Good taste, Nice thin crust. Fresh Toppings. Not a grease ball.On a NY scale it’s a 7 10. (Crust and Sauce needs some improvement)When I find myself in Rochester Michigan, I'll be sure to stop by again.Also, the tomato bisque is a must!4/5 stars because the crust was a bit to crunchy/hard to fold in half and a bit smaller than a true NY slice."

"The last time we were at Ninos was before Mandola passed. He would come by and say hello to each and every table in the evening and ask each of the customers about the food, the service, etc. The food however feels like it has slipped a bit. I ordered the same meal as my last visit and it just wasn’t the same. It was still very good but I was nonetheless disappointed because it wasn’t as excellent as before. Perhaps it was an off night in the kitchen. Perhaps attention to quality has suffered somewhat since Mandolas passing. I’m not sure. It was still very good, but it just wasn’t great…"

This place really offers the best of Italian American cuisine, especially the delicious gelato. I haven't visited in a while since it’s a bit out of the way and parking can be tricky, but I used to go frequently.
