"I don’t know where to begin to describe such a gloomy and obscure place. I will begin with the waiter, lady in black just scaring.. continuing with the elevators in which you have to pray to God to arrive safely… Now the food, the crab is only a tiny piece in the middle of tasteless melons. The duck came completely cold, we asked the scary waiter and she stared at us like in a terror movie… overall I would have gone to the Tower of terror in Disney.."

Hard to pin down exactly, but there are a slew of these new restaurants (mostly Italian-esque) with great looking menus and a certain clinical, kitschy ambiance (I realize that sounds somewhat oxymoronic) that are super overpriced with food that’s mostly tasteless. "BEST BURGER I’ve ever had! I came in for pasta, but the server said that her favorite menu item was the burger. So glad I asked! It was AMAZING. And the house red wine beats anyone’s in the city…dry, complex and scrumptious. Staff is friendly and welcoming yet professional industrious. It’s no wonder that it’s so difficult to get a table during peak hours. Can’t wait to come back!"

"My family recently had a post-wedding celebration at this restaurant. The service was exceptional and the dinner was amazing. We were continuously served course after course of delicious food, from antipasto and homemade bread to trout, pork, clams, chicken, and stuffed shells. The meal was topped off with some scrumptious desserts. Throughout the evening, the wine flowed and the servers were attentive to our needs. We will definitely be returning and recommending this wonderful restaurant to others. Our group was the Natsumi, Dougherty party. It was a fantastic experience."

"Amazing! This is the perfect place to gather with your closest friends. The service and atmosphere are incredibly elegant, and the food and cocktails are outstanding. They have a great selection of wines as well. The property is ideal for hanging out, with a wrap-around porch for fresh air and comfortable seating with beautiful lighting to set the mood. I felt rejuvenated after leaving, like I was twenty years younger. I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. We all had a fantastic time and felt truly uplifted.
