"The food at this restaurant is delicious, but I had a negative experience when inquiring about catering services. I never received a response after reaching out two weeks ago and was told they needed to figure out pricing. I still recommend dining in for a meal, but I would not recommend using their catering services for events."

"the lady that's supposed to be a night manager or whatever she's supposed to be she needs to conduct herself a little bit better when she's dealing with customers especially paying customers at that. This woman was very rude and snobby actually hung up in my face as much money as I spend with this with this restaurant this will be my last time ever spending my money with you all next time train your supervisors a little bit better on how to treat customers because that was very poor customer service I would never allow anyone with such nasty attitude as hers make anything for me"

"Excellent ribs also loved their mac n cheese coleslaw. It's a ways out there if you.live on the Illinois side like I do but it's worth it for the food. Next time I may order through Door Dash since it is a long drive but other than that I'm glad I went there. They did forget my sweet potato pie so next time I'll just have to reorder it again but it's no biggie."

"I will NEVER go to this Captain Jay 's again! I called to place my order yesterday at 7pm for today at 1p. I got the a few minutes later to make sure it was ready because it was a fairly big order). They told me the person that took my order put it in a different area than they usually put the orders so they were gonna cook it now..... But of course I wasn 't told this until they young lady had me to pay on my debit card, we all know a refund would 've taken 5-7 business days.I will start cooking my own chicken or going to Krispy Crunchy."
