"First time here today, very happy we came here, loved the beautiful space, the hostess welcomed us warmly, we we were promptly seated and our server was there quickly (I hate places where you have to sit around for 20 mins , this is not the case here . We came here for lunch 30 mins before closing , so it was quiet. I had the Grand Madame cocktail was delish I had 2 of these , and my husband had beer. We had the bone marrow and oysters for appetizers, and my husband had the Filet Mignon and LB Potatoes and I had the lobster roll with fries (good portion with lots of meat, fries, had to take it home as I couldn’t finish it! , finished with the creme brûlée yummy! Great service, our server was outstanding, and we”ll be back!"

"I’ve been here a couple times before and have loved it. I wanted to share this experience with my husband. He too now loves Anson’s. The service is impeccable. The food was phenomenal, the fried green tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, and Grouper were th best we have had. My husband doesn’t like tomatoes or Brussel sprouts…but now he does or he did here! This place is consistently great. The host at the door and all staff especially our waiter were so polite and went above and beyond!! We went her for my 50th birthday!"

"We were greeted and seated with a smile. Our server (No name tag) was very helpful with the menu. Our water goblets were kept full and our bar drinks were delightful! Each person we encountered had a smile and made sure our food was good, our glasses were full, our plates were cleared and that we were happy with everything. I had the Burrata and the Foie Gras and felt like I was in Foodie Heaven and the Creme Brulee was a perfect way to end the meal. This is a must stop if you are visiting Chicago."

"Arrived early with my husband at 4pm after calling for reservation but only one other table taken so got right in for our first time here. It was still the lunch menu, which we didn't mind because entrees at dinner are pricier. Read the reviews so decided to try the Scottish duck egg as an appetizer and we loved it! Never had one but well worth trying. Crispy fried sausage crust. One egg but comes in half so great for sharing. Shared a Caesar salad which was very good. Lobster mac cheese was light and delicious! Hubby had hamburger with a fried egg, carmalized onions and cheddar cheese and said it was delicious. Hand cut fried to die for! Our waitress was Emily and she was very nice. Drinks were good too. Didn't have dessert, too full and we took half of our meal home. Will definitely go back."

"We will sorely miss this restaurant. I can't believe they want to change it. This is the last week before they are gone. Tried the prawn dish, but that didn't suit as I think it was overcooked, but the fish dish of halibut was fabulous as always. The occasion specials brings me here everytime. "We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Bistro. We started with the charcuterie board, which included 3 different types of bread and cheeses. The brioche was our favorite, with fresh honey from the estate. For our meal, we ordered filet mignon and their mahi mahi special. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. They were featuring a special fall dessert, which was an apple spiced crème brûlée…it was delicious! We had excellent service, as well. We’ll definitely return to the Bistro on our next visit to Biltmore!"
