"We opted to venture out of the tourist area and experience some Mexican cuisine in a Mexican community. The food at this restaurant is genuine and mouthwatering! We tried the pork and steak Gorditas, as well as the beef soup. We are already looking forward to returning the next time we visit Chicago."

"No seasoning what so ever!!! My beef head burrito has a bland taste to it. I ordered a side of rice and beans, COMPLETELY bland!! First time for me I had to throw away my food. First time and my last time!!!!"

"Happy little accident. My husband and I were planning on going to serai that is across the street but annoyingly they are closed on mondays! So we went here instead because we got to eat and we were not disappointed. Our meals were very tasty and with the right amount of spice. We shared the queso fundido and I had the enchiladas with chorizo. My husband had the carne asada. The only critique he has is that his was topped with a little too much cactus. And we both wanted more rice because it was yummy. Even the refried beans were tasty. The waitress was really friendly and the food came out quick. Would order from here again"

"It's a grocery store with a hidden Taqueria, lol what else could you ask for when it comes to authenticity? I love tacos and make it a thing to try new taquerias, and this place is definitely good. I've been many times! I'd say it's my new go-to place for when I want what I want."
