"Based on the initial pictures and description I wasn't expecting this to be inside a ski resort. It wasn't a problem, just unexpected. The food wasn't bad but it wasn't anything special. If you are on vacation looking for good food to try in the area, there may be better places available. The staff was extremely friendly though and made the overall experience very enjoyable."

"This is the perfect place for families to stay near Phoenix. It's about a 15 minute drive to University of Phoenix Stadium and abour a 20-30 minute drive to Phoenix. The hotel is spectacular and the staff are so accomodating. The pool is great for all ages with 2 giant slides and the food was delicious. They have Disney characters visit on Saturdays during their breakfast buffet which was a treat for our little one. This is a historic hotel and you can see it from all the photos of the hotel when it was open in the 1920's. It's really cool to stay someplace so historic. We'll definitely stay again when we visit AZ. Tip: The Wildlife World Zoo nearby is a great place to take the family and feed Giraffes."
