"this place is a jewel. the breakfast was amazing. everything was perfect. I ordered steak omelett, grits and toast. the steak in the omelet was real pieces. that is not my personal preference, but I guess there are many people who like pieces instead of shattered. I'm always used to never being direct. they are always overcooked. they were perfect. the service was excellent. that food came out quickly. they made us feel like we were the only table. in any case my new breakfast place."

"Great food. Awesome atmosphere. Had lunch with friends and their family. Staff kept us well watered and fed (that sounded like we were plants, sorry). Very personable and relatable. I will make the drive again from Hoover to eat there again. Definitely worth it. Oh and the drive was gorgeous too."

"I really loved this place the staff that works here was very nice. My only issue was with the owner who I witnessed treating his workers rudely. I actually felt bad for the girls at the register when I saw the way they were being treated. Otherwise, the atmosphere and food was great and the prices were worth it.Kid-friendliness: I went with my niece and her son, and the waitress was very good with his needsParking: The parking lot is small but at the time we went which was 10 AM. There was plenty of spots."

"The texture of the chicken was disappointing, and the flavor was lacking as well. I ordered the fried chicken, but the breast portion didn’t appear to be fried. It was not crispy at all, and its color was more white than golden brown."
