"Wow, this place brought back amazing food memories of their old sister location that used to be up by me on 88th and 2nd ave. After a night of karaoke fun, and not having eaten anything since lunch other than the normal Friday night 'liquid ' dinner at happy hour we were starving and needed some solid food. <br/ <br/ My girl remembered that Saigon Grill was close by, and being that it was already after 11PM, we decided to forgo the normal late night pizza slice and see if this place was still open. We found it, renamed to Saigon Market, and saw that it was open to 12 midnight! We quickly got a table and our drooling was very noticeable as the menus were handed to us. We quickly discovered that the menu offerings were pretty much the same as their old place, and we did not have to even think twice about what to get. Vegetarian summer rolls, Tasty and Spicy Chicken, Ga Sate chicken. One bite and we were transported back into time food nirvana. Each plate was full and satisfying. So tasty we had to try to eat it slowly to actually enjoy it. Also, just like the old place, the food came out lightning fast! <br/ <br/ Many, many options on their large menu. Just solid Vietnamese food here. Lunch specials too. Open 7 days a week until midnight. As always, the service is attentive and no nonsense which was fine by us. We also noticed that this place is very large. Kind of reminds me of going to a big restaurant in Disney World. Easy access from the Union Square 4,5,6 subway stop. Will definitely take the quick subway ride down from the UES to get our food fix again."

"I'm impressed this place isn't rated higher. Consider this a 4.5 rating rounded up. I arrived with the bf on a Sunday evening at 8:15 and we were the first table. Not a good sign, usually, but we reserved judgement for the food. We ordered the 38 (combo rice plate with shrimp, grilled pork and egg roll) and the garlic noodles with NY steak; along with a Thai iced tea (they were out of pearls, so no boba this time) and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The coffee was amazing, tastes like chocolate. The Thai iced tea? Meh, not worth as it also tasted metallic. Once our food arrived (within about 10 minutes) we were impressed! The steak was cooked mostly well done but was still very juicy, flavorful and tender. The garlic noodles is made with spaghetti noodles but had great flavor. The grilled pork was amazing! A little sweeter but I prefer it that way, the prawns tastes fresh and the egg roll was crunchy and delicious. The steak with garlic noodles came with A1 sauce on the side but you really don't need it. The #38 has the standard sweet fish sauce to dip and the pickled veggies were perfect. The service is pretty standard for Vietnamese so any lack thereof isn't counted against them. The total for us was 50.25, so we left $60 and agreed we would return if ever in the area. By the time we left two more tables had joined us. The pho bowls look huge so we will have to return to try them.Vegetarian options: Pho without meat, some veggie (but not vegan) options in most categories.Parking: Full parking lot surrounding the building."
