"Sunday brunch in downtown Tulsa. The location is small with about 10 tables inside and limited outdoor seating and a complete service bar with about 6 seats. Low light ambience and limited capacity make for a great date night idea crowd for brunch is an older church quantity. The service was fast. Today we have eggs Benedict with shredded short ribs and roasted potatoes. It is rare to find a place in Tulsa that can prepare and serve a real Eggs Benedict. The dish itself is simple, but requires skill prepares the sauce and fried eggs. It is not a dish where you can only throw ingredients on the grill or in a deep frit. The chalkboard does an excellent job. Eggs are perfectly posing. Sauce was creamy with the right tangent. The beef short rib was very delicate and wonderfully spiced, but I guess I would rather have the Canadian bacon. What can I say, but I'm a traditionalist with these classic dishes."
