"I 've never ate Indian food before and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I consider myself a foodie and my palate was pleased with the amount of flavor in every bite of food I ate. I was a clean platter for sure!I can 't remember the names of the dishes, but the meat in our dishes, CHEF 'S KISS cooked to perfection. I had chicken in my dish, my son had lamb and our friend had goat. I had a taste of all 3 and they were all divine in their own unique smell and taste! The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, service wasn 't bad but wasn 't anything above and beyond to win me over to say it was great. It was your basic food industry service. We will be back for sure though"

"I had heard mixed reviews about the freshness of the food at this restaurant in Irving, but decided to give it a try. I ordered the windshield wiper pakora and fish 65 to start, followed by chicken biryani and a dessert. The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was good as well. Overall, it was a great dining experience. The next day, I wanted to go back for some pakora and chai, but unfortunately, they didn't have chai available. My suggestion to them would be to remove items from the menu if they are not being served."

"This place is just awesome. Visited last Thursday evening for the all-vegan buffet and was blown away by everything. So many delicious choices for food, kind and fantastic people helping out. Loved the Pani Poori demostration, the dosa were to die for, and I ate waaay too much Saag Tofu. Everything tasted SO good. We will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Thank you!!"

"The bestest Indian restaurant I’d say compared to many others in major cities that I’ve tried so far. Even their mushroom soup tastes so damn good. If you’re visiting Chicago and have hard time finding a great Indian dining, think not and head to this place. Their shrimp curry was out of the world with the right amount of spices and perfectly cooked shrimp. I also vote the most for their Kotthu Parota. Just beware that the quantity of kotthu parota is good enough to be shared between 3. It is spicy as well if your taste buds are craving some Indian food don’t hesitate to grab one of this. Their chapati/roti are not made from scratch it was just a frozen one that was reheated and cooked I believe."

"I've eaten at the downtown location several times and have never had a bad meal there. I met a couple of friends for dinner at the UES location last weekend, and the execution of the dishes was not consistent. Those who ate chicken were very happy. Those of us eating veggies had small complaints. For instance, the cauliflower in my dish was undercooked enough for me to notice it. That said, the service was good, and the meal was very reasonably priced. I would go there again if I were in the neighborhood."

"Raas is a beautiful Indian restaurant in a restored Victorian house in downtown Lewes, Delaware. The ambience is excellent and there is a veranda that offers outside the restaurant. Each interior has a socket for charging phones, etc., which is convenient. Only my wife and I fed Raas tonight. We started with drinks - she had a spicy mango margarita that was definitely spicy and I had a 1947 beer (wish they had more Indian beers). For an appetizer we had the Cauliflower Manchurian, who were Spcy Fritte with a dipping sauce - delicious, but don't order this dish if you can't treat hot. For dinner I had the deconstructed Pork Vindaloo and my wife had the Lamb Shank roganjosh. Both dishes were well presented. The lambry is served in a small bucket of sauce, which makes it a little chaotic to get to your plate - you have to take it quite a lot with your hands. I was in Indian restaurants where you eat with your hands, but I don't think they thought this as a hand-on experience. The Roganjosh sauce itself was just OK. Light glands. The Vindaloo was also bland. The pig was perfectly cooked, but pork pliers are very bland on their own, and the deconstructed preparation means that the pig does not boil in the sauce and does not absorb any taste. The Vindaloo sauce simply did not serve the pork roast on the side. I applauded her genuity, but the taste simply lacked. Overall for the three dishes, two drinks and an order of butter naan was $120 in front of top. We will definitely go back to Raas, but would not get back from these ducks. We will definitely get the Cauliflower Manchurian back. There are many vegan options on the menu, so we will visit again in the summer when our vegan family and friends are in town will update my review after I tried other entrees."

"I had the lamb gyro which was the best I've had in years. I even had a choice of meat from pork, lamb, or chicken. Fries was very crispy just add I like them."

"We have visited Shanti several times and always enjoy our meals there. It is the best Indian food we have found in the area! The servers are typically very helpful in guiding us towards vegan options, and the portions are quite generous. We would highly recommend it!"

"This place should close. Worst meal I've had in decades. Had onion bahji battered oily mess fried in oil that was too cold. Gobi Manchuria what is this dish, battered cauliflower poorly fried covered in fake sweet and sour that is way too salty, disgusting. Kerman Nan garbage served in oil soaked undercooked dough with holes in it, no one should serve this. Fish kuorma and chicken jalfrezi cooked in the same bad sauce with little variation. Even the server couldn't tell the difference and called one vegtables? Pickles literally the ones you buy in bulk at food max. Can of sprite, unopened and dropped on table for three dollars. You couldn't pour it? Creepy guy in hat stalking tables seems like a clueless owner? Two young servers both kind and trying. Protein quality was decent, but ruined by preparation. I wasted my time and money. You shouldn't. Literally go anywhere else."

"This place is great. They are passionate about the food they are cooking a day serve with it pride. When I have gone to eat thee I've been given free samples and soup each time. A group of friends and I often order delivery from here as they have a varied, high quality menu, and timely delivery service. For the best stuff ask what they like and give it a shot. One of the best take out places in Union Square."

"My husband and I visited Roots on a weeknight and found ourselves to be the only patrons in the restaurant for the entire evening. The waitstaff was inattentive, only checking on us when bringing out food, and we had to ask for more water. The food was disappointing - my husband ordered meat dishes, I ordered vegan options, and we also shared some vegan dishes. We were both unimpressed. The menu at Roots resembled that of other well-known restaurants in Denver, but the dishes lacked flavor, quality, and creativity. The house-made hummus and brussel sprouts were decent, but the heavy reliance on deep-fried dishes for the vegan options was disappointing. The desserts were a letdown, with the chocolate cake tasting freezer-burned and the Swedish cheesecake lacking in taste. Overall, we felt we spent too much money on a mediocre meal and are unlikely to return."

"that was our first Indian food experience in alabama since we moved here. we always have our stack-lovers we order when we are looking for Indians. our favorite and what will let us come back is chicken tikka masala, but this one had an overwhelming amount of swirling in it. We've never seen this before in this court, and unfortunately it was all we could taste. it was also incredibly sweet, and unfortunately just not pleasant. the saag distributor was simply ok, not much taste and we ended to season it yourself. naan was in order, quite normal. something new we tried was the gobi manchurian. that was really very tasty, but would recommend to order it only in the restaurant because it becomes soggy fast when they do not eat it fresh. not her fault, only a part of the saucy fried food when they pack it. for us that was not, and we will continue to search for our visit. but the restaurant is sweet and the workers are sweet. possible other dishes will be a better experience than what we had."

"taim makes delicious felafel and related objects. this place is all vegetarian and usually vegan. there are not many places to sit here, but only a few crowded stools, so this is usually for the extradition. a big part: this place has great competition, because is very close to by chloe that I feel it borders out. but it is packed by chloe, or they want felafel, taim is a good bet. updated by the previous review on 2020-02-21"

"Fantastic food and fantastic service! I had my birthday dinner there with 15 people and I couldn’t have had a better experience. The food was absolutely amazing. And they excellently managed to serve this big group (we had people joining us late and it was no problem). Without hesitation they let us split the bill the way we wanted to. And they offered me a fantastic desert for free! 10/10!!"
