"pros: this diner was a very well managed diner. it has been decades and the staff here is very nice. the owner works hard with their employees in the opposite to other owners who sit at home and let the business run itself. eating was good, the menu had a lot to it, it came fast and also cons: they did not work well to wipe some tables. they also block their entrance with a tent and the people must go and on the same side that could cause a problem squeezing, especially from the autobahn overall: excellent diner to come, I put it very hard. make sure that your table is deleted and will continue with preview when entering parking"

"I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since the 90s. The service used to be consistently good, but my most recent order through Grubhub was disappointing. I did not receive the plastic silverware, extra bread, or Italian dressing that I had requested. They also no longer provide parmesan cheese or cracked red pepper with meals. I would be willing to pay extra for these items if they were on the menu. Not receiving them really affected my dining experience."

"I love this place. The owner and staff are always really friendly and clean. I always get the salmon cooked in a bourbon sauce with their mouth watering mac and cheese and fried squash. They also give you a big buttery garlic stick with this meal. Everything there is stupendous. I have studied under a few great chefs in college and these guys are the real deal. Thank you guys for your hard work and commitment to quality and affordability of your services."

"I catered a birthday party with Taylor St. We had pizza, matacioli, and garlic bread. Everyone loved the food. People are still asking me where I got the pizza from. A special thanks to Alex who went above and beyond to make sure my catering needs weremet. He gave me the perfect suggestions and helped me get some gluten free options as well. He even did a follow up call afterthe delivery to make sure it went well. I have had pizza delivered from multiple establishments in the last 20 years, but nonehave ever reached out to make sure the food was good and delivery went smoothly. "Here?s my honest review, the food is good. I used to come here All the time. The food is really good actually. The service is good, I don?t care about service as long as the people are polite and I get my food in a timely manor and my food is fresh.That?s what this place does good, basically everything. Until recently, the same service and food but the prices were way higherrecently. They blocked some prices off of the menu because they raised them so much. Like I said, everything is great exceptthere is still outdated prices and I will say it?s a bit over priced now. Will I still come here? Yes it?s close and they havegood food. Will I come here as much? Sadly no. I understand it?s hard for small businesses owners to break even and make enoughmoney to make ends meet. That?s a good reason why I?ll still come here. Overall I still recommend it, just a bit bummed outabout prices but it?s understandable."

"Keep up the great work! We live in St Charles and have ordered from you a few times now. It’s about a 10-15 min drive and the food is always hot when it’s delivered. We order from Uber Eats because you guys have awesome deals spend $25 and get $8 off or when the cinnamon bites were buy one, get one free so delicious. My daughter has adhd and is picky but she will eat every bit of her pizza and makes sure she gets every last breaded cauliflower. We will definitely keep ordering from here."

"Who would ever guess it! Attended a Culinary dinner at Stringtown bar and Grill last night which was prepared by owner Chef Potter and it was absolutely amazing! Heard about it from some friends, made reservations and so glad we went! Perfect from the barbecue shrimp/risotto appetizer, mouth watering leg of lamb entree and pumpkin mousse carrot cake! Unbelievable for the price!! Dinner was served in a charming private room next to the bar where karaoke started about the time dinner was over. We stopped into the main bar and had a beer afterwards, listened to some really good singers which was also a pleasant surprise! What a nice evening! Count us in for the next culinary dinner!"

"We went to the old good Eats and thought it was OK. But now with new possession / new cook for just a few months now, we decided to give it an attempt... and WOW, we are glad that we did. From the beginning to the end, the service was impeccable (friendly, attentive, nurturing). They offer homemade soups daily and between the 3 of us, we had the 2 they had on that day. We saved her! Our Entrees also did not disappoint large parts, homemade, DELICIOUS. We recommend HIGHLY and definitely will be back... SOON!"
