"The portion sizes at this restaurant are generous, but the flavors are average at best. The $10 charge for splitting plates seems excessive. The service was attentive, but we were driven out by the presence of gnats. We were also put off by the owner, who was loudly demanding something."

"Coaches is always delicious! Love every burger, my children love their chickens and corn dogs. Can't wait until the chili (possibly) returns. Zach was our waiter and was excellent! The bacon was forgotten on my husband's burger and he immediately took responsibility and took the cargo from our check after the offer to get us some if we wanted. Zach was very nice and brought us refills without asking. Great experience with coaches as usual. Thank you, Zach!"

"Don’t believe the reviewers claiming poor service or long waits. We were sat immediately, had our drinks and appetizers within 10 minutes, our entrees within 30 of being seated. Our server was exceptionally attentive, and we even saw the manager helping take orders and seat people. The food was great and the staff was amazing."

"I went to this restaurant with two friends at 9 pm, just before closing time. Despite my expectations of receiving negative attitudes due to our late arrival, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff greeted us warmly and provided excellent service. I ordered the ribeye steak with a baked sweet potato and a blue cheese salad, which were both fresh and delicious. If the food was this good during closing time, I can only imagine how great it would be during regular hours. I wish more places were as good as this one."

"Today for the first time for lunch. My niece was pleased that they could do a gluten-free patty melt. She also mentioned that the bread was very good. I had the Bavarian who was very good. I was just taken back at the high tables. I know this is a tavern, but I think they only had eight regular tables."

"Excellent service from Sam! This was our first visit to the Branded Steer. We were on a Date Night and saw their menu on line. The prices looked reasonable but they have gone up from what is on the website. My wife ordered the chicken fajitas and there was enough for 2 or more people. They were served pipping hot and she said they were delicious. I had the 14oz rib-eye done medium rare and it was cooked perfect for me...hot but still red/pink in the middle. The manager came to check on us to see how our food was, wich we told him very good. The french onion soup was flavorful and nice and hot. We will be back again when we can steal away for another date night and hopefully we can have Sam as our server again. Again Sam was excellent and very attentive but not hovering."

"My fiancé and I ordered food over the phone for pickup. We only order food to go because the couple times we were in there the staff wasn’t the friendliest. My fiancé walks in and says Hi I’m here to pickup an order and girl snottily replied that she wasn’t working and walked away from him. Another girl who waited on my fiancé was kind. That was extremely rude and uncalled for. The next minute he sees her waiting on a table when she said she wasn’t working. All she had to do was say I’m sorry I don’t do the pickup orders and find someone. Honestly the food is good but it’s not worth it to be treated so rudely."
