"My fiancé and I live in Carroll Gardens and frequent the Red Hook Pier. We?ve walked by Hoek a handful of times but never actually dined there until last night. After an exhausting day in the heat running errands in the city, we decided to finally have dinner at Hoek. I intended it to be a quick pizza dinner but we ended up staying longer than expected. The entire staff was literally so friendly and genuine. They made us feel so welcome and really went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. I did not catch her name, but the girl with pink eyebrows was exuberant and her energy was vivacious and contagious. I hope she will be working next time I come for dinner! Katia and Destiny went above and beyond in all aspects throughout the evening. Food was outstanding. We cannot wait to be back!"
