"I had booked a reservation at Little Nonna's for a date night but it wasn't too crowded on a Saturday early evening, which was just fine by me. I had eaten in their indoor area before which at night is pretty dimly lit with candles for a romantic vibe, but this time I opted to sit in their courtyard area that has more light and open space. It has a sunroof, is enclosed by walls, and had fans and even an AC so it's not quite truly outdoors, but the roof was very appreciated when a quick downpour of rain appeared in the middle of our dinner! My one suggestion would be to spruce up the courtyard even more with some plants I think a greener garden look would be beautiful. Service was good and quick; I'm not one to be chatty with servers but I heard another table chatting it up so they are definitely talkative if you want that. My partner and I made our own little three course meal. We started with their well regarded garlic bread, which was the perfect balance between soft and crispy and came with a whole bulb of roast garlic to spread. You better believe we ate it all, I even got in there with my fingers to get every clove. We got the Sunday gravy to share, coming with a plate of pasta (this time was cannelloni and a second plate with two sausages, a giant meatball, and a generous cut of braised short rib. It was plenty to eat and the meats were all well cooked and flavored. I think I would have just liked the option of adding more parmesan to cut the tomato sauce a bit. Finally we ended with a tiramisu, which here was served as a layered cup that reminded me of their sister restaurant Barbuzzo's salted caramel budino (which is a very high compliment! . Overall really liked both the seating area and the food nothing too novel or mind blowing but it was all cozy and comfortable food done well and perfect for a date!"
