"Visited this restaurant for the first time on 1/7/22 around 7PM. There were several people seated, but there were at least 4 open spots at the bar with 4 seats each. The clientele was diverse, with families and couples dining. I tried a variety of items and found that the broths made at this restaurant are excellent. However, I would not recommend ordering the popular appetizers I tried, such as the shrimp tempura, cabbage dumplings, and spring rolls. The Japanese fried rice was decent, but not outstanding. I will definitely be returning for the Japanese Garden Bowl, which was delicious. The Casian Bowl also stood out, with a slightly smoky broth. I suggest asking for the noodles to be served separately next time, as the broth is so flavorful that it stands on its own. Overall, I highly recommend trying Izumi for a satisfying soup experience."
