"My husband and I went to Chez Sophie to celebrate my birthday. We chose their tasting menu which had a great selection. The food is impeccable and every dish had the perfect blend between texture, taste and presentation. I appreciate good food and you can definitely see the work and creativity of how the chef selected the specific ingredients and herbs to create a masterpiece. I also loved the simplicity in presentation but the richness in flavour for each dish. Everything on the tasting menu was amazing but I enjoyed the lobster ravioli and the mushroom tartelette the most. Our waiter and the whole staff were very attentive. Our waiter suggested a few changes that could be made on the menu to ensure that I am eating safely as I’m pregnant. I really appreciate the hospitality, the courtesy and the attention to detail. It is very rare to see such qualities in fine dining restaurants these days. I live in Ottawa and I am happy to experience Chez Sophie. The whole team is very knowledgeable in the culinary and hospitality world. I highly recommend that everyone gets a chance to go and try Chez Sophie’s wonderful food and dining experience. I love, love this place and will definitely be back to celebrate another special occasion next time I’m in town!"
