"This was our first time dining at L'Auberge. The setting is nice and enjoyed the service. Most of the food was great with the exception of the Onion Soup. Not sure why but it just lacked depth and flavor. All of the other sauces and preparations were really good. I had the duck and it was exception. The souffles were fantastic with the exception of the accompanying ice cream. I'm so used to creme anglaise that a creamy ice cream felt like a letdown. They were so tall and beautiful, it wasn't a real problem. The ice cream really became a nice sauce. Overall I would return. There's not a lot of French cuisine in our area and it needs to be patronized."
