"Rarely I ever write a review, but this place was flat out of brilliant! The service was impeccable shrine after Nick and the day leader. The food was amazing, it was the perfect temp not too hot or cold), and the place was super clean! I am a huge sticker, even above all Kovid 19) of seemingly clean places; I could go on and on, as this place wished me, I would eat there daily. Thank you for giving me such a nice experience. "With friends for the Cooking With Julia 2022 menu. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The Cassoulet by Duck and Sausage and Coquille St. Jacques A La Provencale were excellent. The dessert... Chocolate Mousse A La Orange was from this world! I almost made an excuse for another, LoL. On the bottom, my beef Bourguignon slipped past the quality control, as it had very little sauce on it (see photo), others had a lot of sauce with their serving. Without the sauce, this menu item was somewhat disappointing. A friend shared her sauce with me so that I had an idea of what I missed."

"They were busier than I expected, so our table was not ready when we arrived at 6:45 for our 7pm reservation. We had to wait until 7:15, but the staff made up for it! We sat at the bar and our drinks were excellent, as was our bartender. He even gave us a discount on the bill! There were a few issues with our order, but eventually our dinner was fantastic. The sommelier made sure we had the perfect wines to accompany our meals. Overall, they made our anniversary a delightful experience!"

"The Chop House specializes in Prime Beef. When I made the Open Table reservations for 2--my wife's birthday, I was looking forward to my favorite Chop House Filet Mignon, which I have savored in the past. However, due to a sudden flareup of gout, red meat was off my diet, Nevertheless, the Northern grilled salmon I ordered was excellent, and my wife enjoyed her sea scallops. There was a waiter in training, but he was accompanied by an experienced helper who was also knowledgeable about red wines, and the choice recommended was a good one. I highly recommend the Charleston West Virginia Chop House. You won't be disappointed."
