"After waiting for my 3 hard shell tacos in the drive thru for over 15 minutes because they offer was ready but they forgot about it and it sat, the tacos were soggy and fell apart. I went in the restaurant to explain to the manager and told him I just wanted my money back and he replied no that he would cook me 3 more tacos. I said no thanks I'm just going to go elsewhere and then he explained that he didn't have a key to the register so therefore he couldn't give me my money back. I explained that I would wait until the next transaction with the register and when it opened he could then obtain my refund of $6.89. He angryly walked off and after a couple minutes a female employee came over and explained that I would get a refund but I had to go back through the drive thru in order to get it!! I said, I'm standing right here in the restaurant by the same register that is used for the drive thru and why can't you just give me my refund now and save me the trouble of getting back in the drive thru line and having to wait. The male manager then walked up and said that was their company policy and if I wanted my refund then that's what I would have to do. So, I got back in my car and drove back through the drive thru and 10 minutes later received my refund. Can you believe that!!! I have noticed that since this COVID thing, some restaurants and people have become pure lazy, ignorant fools that could care less about anything. People, just do your jobs and if you don't like what you do then either quit or find another job!!"

"The food was excellent. Although the reviews were up and down, our local friend insisted the food was delicious and he was right. We ordered a No 4 lunch special that had a pork tamale, beef enchilada, beef taco, rice and beans. They brought out chips with bean dip and some salsa while waiting for the food, which many restaurants now charge for. The bean dip and refried beans were quite flavorful (maybe the same). While I love bean dip, even my husband said that the bean dip was excellent. The salsa was good, but could have used a little more hot spice for me. The pork tamale was the absolute best I have had in a long time. The beef enchilada was filled with savory shredded beef and quite a bit of it, more than most restaurants give. The beef taco was good, but could have used some salsa. Luckily, we had salsa from the chips we put on it, which made it excellent. The rice was normal Mexican rice. Overall, it was a huge lunch serving that we split and both of us were stuffed full. Our friend ordered a No 11 with chile rellenos and other stuff. His meal was huge and he savored every bite. We used to come here 30 years ago for Happy Hour and the food is just as delicious as it was then. Actually, our waiter/bartender, David, said he started out at this restaurant 30 years ago and recited the Happy Hour free food menu from 30 years ago. David was very friendly, personable, and gave us excellent service. We'll definitely return next time we are in town. Although you can't tell from the outside, it's a nice restaurant with great food and great service, which is why they have been around at least 30 years that I know of and probably quite a bit longer."

"Like everything else in Tombstone, Caffe Margarita has a rich history. It was once known as the Russ House, which was established in 1880 by Sal Anderson and Jacob Smith. The Russ House boasted a clear view of the mine and housed one of the largest dining rooms in Tombstone. It was a remarkable establishment for its time, featuring spring mattresses and other modern amenities. The Russ House is also associated with the famous 'Angel of Tombstone,' Nellie Cashman. During our visit, we were encouraged by the locals to experience one of the city’s premier culinary delights at Caffe Margarita. We began our meal with fresh guacamole and queso as appetizers. After a long day of sightseeing and visiting museums, we decided to try the prickly pear margarita that our new friend Steve Goldstein had recommended. All three menu items were spot on! The homemade guacamole was absolutely delightful, with the perfect consistency and a medley of flavors that left us feeling elated. The queso was also a refreshing treat for our taste buds. Having lived in California for so long, I had almost forgotten what real queso tasted like! It’s a rare dish to find out there, and even when you do, it doesn’t compare to the incredible Tex-Mex flavors I grew up with. Caffe Margarita did a fantastic job with both dishes, and I highly recommend them. As for the prickly pear margarita, this 16-ounce drink was a true gem, crafted with lime, prickly pear Midori, Chambord, and Grand Marnier. It was absolutely delicious and paired perfectly with our appetizers. Be sure to try it! For our main course, we couldn’t resist ordering the house specialty: sizzling hot fajitas! Just take a look at the picture, and you'll see what I mean. We all opted for the beef fajitas, which were expertly prepared and came with fresh tortillas, Mexican rice, and roasted beans. The combination of fresh meat and seasoning was out of this world. Our hungry group knew we had made the right choice to dine at Caffe Margarita! To end our meal, we indulged in the sweet and creamy flan paired with some tequila. We shared great stories about our day’s adventures while sitting by the warm fire, listening to a live band. What a wonderful atmosphere! This will definitely not be my last visit to Caffe Margarita; you can count on that!"
