"My husband and I are originally from Texas. We've been searching high and low for a decent Mexican place. Sooo glad we found this place!! We were completely blown away by the flavors, portions and menu options. Very big menu. Lots of drinks. I had the Chicken Mole and it was SOO good I day dreamt about the flavor all day. My husband had the Carne Asade Enchildas and said they were good! We really loved the chips salsa and slaw that came out before the meal, we tried very hard to not get full on that alone! There were quite a few in there for dinner.. but the service was Fast.. the manager came by every table and said hello and asked how everything was.. said goodbye when we left. Great service! DO NOT smoke before you come here.. you will need a wheelchair to get out. ?"

"The first time here was the service in the bar really not good, but the food was great. Tonight at 4/1/22 we sat on the restaurant side and the service was phenomenal. First of all, and perhaps most notably, the staff is so kind and attentive. Beyond that, the menu is extensive, service is *extremely* quick, the food is hot and delicious, and the portions are huge. "If you get the chance, I highly recommend that you eat at the Mexican restaurant, here in Pocatello, Chapalas. We try to eat there regularly, as their service is, and always has been, wonderful. They’re a family owned restaurant here in Pocatello and we like to support family owned restaurants if we can. Today we ordered some food to-go and when I went in to pay, they recognized us from previous times offered free drinks chips salsa (and when we got home, we realized sopapillas. They can’t do this for everyone, of course, but the gesture was so kind. Then the man who works there, who was helping me, then helped me carry everything out to our car. The whole family that works there is always so kind and thoughtful and they are always like this. There’s not a single time when we go into the restaurant that they are not happy and willing to joke around with you. If you get the chance to support them, you won’t regret it!"
