"We came to the green turtle on Veterans Day to meet some friends for dinner. We love the green turtle and have never had bad service. This particular evening it was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The waitress was not very good we waited a long time for our food I believe within an hour for our food to come out and it was cool when he got there. The only thing that made it better with the manager came out and comped our meal which we did not ask for we just wanted a corrected check that the waitress had messed up three times. But that was very nice of him to do that. The manager had to tell the waitress that she was not in trouble and to just go away from our table and then she proceeded to give us dirty logs as we left the restaurant. It was not our fault that she cannot do her job properly and it made us feel very uncomfortable. It’s very unfortunate because we loved the green turtle"

"Now let's start with the fact that there is a waitress named Dani at this restaurant - she is absolutely amazing! We never had to ask for a refill, she was so friendly, and she is a fantastic mother to her son Aubrey. He charmed our socks off, lol! Needless to say, we had a great time there. Thank you, Denny's! It goes to show that not all servers should just be serving in public - some have the power to change the world in just one night!"

"We went specifically for Burger Week was very disappointed that the employees were not even aware of what the choices were on the menu. They stated that it wasn 't being hyped by the establishment so it wasn 't a big thing for them. On Tap Menu is small, the wine list even smaller lots of specailty drinks on the menu. The brussel sprouts were our appetizer...DELICIOUS, the burger was quite charred and salty just ok. Not sure why I was charged $8 for a $6 burger unless i was charged for NOT having hot peppers on it! Overall it was OK great place to hang out with friends and chill, but not a great date night experience."

"February 14th was my husband and I first time at this particular Alehouse. We were excited (Valentine's Day) kept having to ask the waiter for things that should have already been on the table, had to ask for veggies, ordered a togo lunch as well, was not what we ordered, had a extra charge on bill no one could account for, and still tipped. Three more times over a few days, my Boss and I ordered lunch, order was not right, asked for veggies of the day, no veggies. Last straw today 2/21/06, ordered lunch, no veggies that were requested, baked potato was brown all the way through, called a few times, and was put on hold until I hung up. Do you think this is good for their BUSINESS?????? Also, this last time I ordered (2/21/06), there were no napkins or silverware (plastic forks, spoon, and knives) huh, huh???? What other steps do you think I should take??? (Smart remarks are not open for suggestion)."

"We were really excited to try Woodlands Grill. There are only a few local options and the reviews and menu looked great. The first night we arrived an hour before their posted closing time and we were turned away because they said they let staff go and close an hour earlier than what they have posted. We were disappointed but decided to try again. The next time we got there at 6 to make sure we would have enough time. We got seated and tried to order drinks and every beer on the menu that we tried to order we were told they were all out. Disappointing but not the end of the world so we order what they had. The kids were excited to try the pizza and the rest of us all decided what we wanted to order. Then the waitress came to take our order and let us know they are no longer serving pizza or anything else on the menu other than lunch items. What a bummer...not one of us got to order what we wanted. The worst part was actually the quality of what we did get to eat. My kids will eat just about anything and I've never seen them refuse to eat chicken tenders and French fries....but these were so bad I couldn't blame them. Chicken was super thin and way over cooked which made them hard to chew. Same with the waffle fries only they were also very over salted on top of it. The burgers and sandwiches were horrible. I felt so bad for the waitress because none of this was her fault. The owners should just shut the doors if they can't afford to staff and supply the restaurant sufficiently. Apparently this place is better in peak season....definitely avoid eating here after Labor Day!"

"This could've been an amazing stay but unfortunately too many elements made it rather mediocre. The villa itself was nice and sweet however they never came to clean it which was rather odd given we stayed multiple nights. The first night we ate at Kensingtons out of convenience. Some items were decent like the fresh bread, shrimp appetizer. But most dishes were very poor. The short rib was over cooked, dry, and overly salty. The filet was subpar. But the apple tart was delicious. Next day we went to the spa. Robes and slippers were lovely but the spa was very crowded with 10 women trying to fit into the hot tub. We had booked detox pedicures but the pedicure was not at all pampering with barely any foot massage. But the final day we ate at Ascots for lunch which is driving this two star rating. We waited 20 minutes to place an order and another hour to receive it. When it arrived my meal was wrong. Even though they said they'd fix the order it never came, and yet the final bill included it and I needed to argue with manager to have it comped given it wasn't what I ordered! Left feeling this facility didn't have any appreciation for client servicing. It's a shame as it could've been a lovely stay."

"We stopped on our way to Zion NP and had a very nice, late, lunch. The food was great. Sweet potato fries were not soggy (some places are challenged cooking these). The onion rings were crispy and hot. We shared two different chicken sandwiches and they were both great. It's been mentioned that they are struggling getting their staff back and trained but we thought they did their best to accommodate us. We will visit again."
