"I thought we were trying this place as we were living nearby, but never gone earlier, since it was always empty now we know why! Server was super nice, house wine was good, and the food came fast to be fair, we were the only ones there. But the food was massively mediocre. I never had a carbonara without egg or pepper?! but with tomatoes, fat slices onion, Alfredo sauce and a whole Finnish forest value of mushrooms. So much stuff, and yet so little spicing that it tasted exactly like any alfredo pasta dish would be different everywhere. This is not to say it was bad, it was simply not especially or by definition even a Carbonara . I'm sure some people who americanized Italians are a consolation, à la Olive Garden, but that's just not for me. What was inconvenient was the crushed garlic landmines that spread within the calzone. Hit you like a truck. All in all, Standard Americana Italian but only.... Not as good as you would expect."
