"The gentleman at the counter at Extreme Pizza was very friendly and knowledgeable about what vegan options the restaurant offered. The regular pizza dough contains eggs, but the gluten-free dough is also vegan, so I went with the smallest sized gluten-free pizza. They also have vegan cheese. I went during a late weekday lunch, and the restaurant seemed slow. This may be a sign of the current federal shutdown more than anything else, but maybe they do more delivery business than in-house business. They also have some beers on tap, which makes it so you can have a relaxed sit-down meal if you so choose. I found the smallest pizza size to be a bit small for my appetite, especially as compared to other local pizza chains such as &pizza, but given the friendliness of the staff, I may just have to come back."
