"After watching Jiro dreams of sushi and the fact that Nakazawa now has a star, my expectations going into this meal we’re very high. While many pieces were tasty, for the price there are better omakase experiences in the city. Exceptional attention to detail is lacking. Moths flying around the bar and Ikea cabinetry take away from what should be a refined experience. The publicly in the press seems to draw tourists rather than local regulars."

"sushi nakazawa is the best sushi experience in new york city bar no! the service is gracious. the sushi is fresh, delicious and changes at seasons. the menu is extensive. we have never been disappointed. every experience is unique, but familiar. outstanding and fabulous! I can't wait to return."
