"I was in town for business and my Airbnb was right next to Links. The reviews were good so I knew I’d have to try. Keep in mind, this is Wicker Park with TONS of restaurant and bar options. Really glad I decided to come here though! If you want super flavorful sausage and just about any beer you could think of, I suggest you come here as well. Both bartenders were really knowledgeable, friendly, funny and attentive but not overly obnoxious. I sat at the bar top so I had someone “waiting” on me, but I think if you sit at one of the tables you order from the bar. There aren’t any specific servers. The restaurant has tons of TVs and that particular Sunday, the Bears game was on. They were playing the sound as well. The restaurant had a good crowd but wasn’t entirely full. This is probably a really good place to watch a game and avoid the crowds. My Chicago Steak and Ale sausage was delicious. The dill horseradish sauce was tangy and the perfect accompaniment to the bold sausage and onions. The fries were meh. Not the most amazing I’ve ever had but still worth the order if you’re feeling like fries. The two beers I tried were awesome, and coming from Seattle we have some pretty great choices. Definitely would come back here again if I’m in the area!"
