"We stumbled upon this restaurant in Syracuse in search of the best Cuban sandwich in town. Despite never having tried Cuban food before, we decided to give it a shot. Syracuse is filled with countless Caribbean food options, but we settled on this place after some convincing. The Cuban sandwich lived up to its reputation, with a perfect balance of flavors. While I preferred another restaurant, my girlfriend loved this one just as much. The empanadas were a standout for me, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like no other. The maduros and plantains were a new experience, offering a unique blend of sweet and savory. The chicken stew was a hit, slow-cooked and tender, pairing well with the sandwiches. I even ordered it on a second visit, breaking my own rule of trying something new each time. However, the oxtail stew fell short for me, with too much bone and lackluster flavor. Despite this, the restaurant earns five stars for its authentic cuisine, amazing Cuban sandwich, and friendly owners. I look forward to returning and exploring more of their menu."
